We just purchased a Model Y yesterday! It's a no-brainer, no interest for 60 months and $7,500 on top of that. I have a 50-mile daily commute, so hopefully we see good return.
I will be picking up my new model 3 long range rear drive this week!! I am so excited. Though I am retired and both of my daughters and ex wife tell me not to buy it and that I don't need it this ISN'T about need....it's about want. I want to stop polluting the air we all breath and stop putting garbage in landfills like oil changes/filters and so on. I know it's not 100% good for the environment but it is MUCH better than my Texas truck. Anyways...I watch your channel and enjoy seeing you both interact with each other and the good information you provide. Keep making them...I'll keep watching. Can't wait to take my first trip! Peace.
I had heard once or twice about 1 peddle driving, but didn't think about it. My previous hybrids had regenerative braking, but when I got in the Tesla I was shocked. The thing brakes hard when you get off the gas. I was curious about the brake lights though and hadn't actually checked myself yet. Good to know! Also very glad you brought up the volume and sources thing, when I first got my Tesla I couldn't figure out why I was missing Spotify, and no one mentions why. I spent a lot of time on the internet searching for an answer to this.

@@appletech9535I think u still need to do it while the car is moving. The brake itself needs some friction. If ur pressing it while the car isn’t moving it won’t do anything
The car still uses the brakes to bring you to a complete stop. Regen braking only works while moving more than a few mph and won’t completely stop the car.
@@vegasteslafamily Correct and specially in Europe all new Tesla standard range RWD have an LFP (BYD) battery, and If your battery is an LFP they recommend you to load 100% minimum 1/week. Until now (15000km driving since september 2024) I can not complain.
I don’t know if your accessories section is 100% accurate because my purchase came with carpet mats. I will say Tesla no longer gives 110 AC Volt chargers; you have to purchase them via the website and it roughly costs $230. -Tesla Guy from NC
I have a question on the Tesla navigation system. Does the system have a internally stored map database on a flash drive or does it pull map information from cellular data? What happens when you don't have cellular coverage like inside a national park, will navigation still function?
Sometimes I take my lunch in my car. Is there an option to turn off auto on when you get inside? I don’t want all the lights coming on when I’m just tryna sit and eat
One pedal driving is a drag..when you want to coast, you have to be pushing the gas pedal all the time. I have it in my car but I dont use it, its much more comfortable that way. And you still have the regen braking if you step on break pedal. Driving with one pedal is way less smoother than with two, and more work.
Thanks for the video. By the way i just came back from Portugal and Spain trip, most of my uber rides are Tesla cars and l learned that tesla cars in Europe are not authorize for auto pilot and self driving. The uber driver told me that It is EU’s policy does not allow self driving because of the roads are smaller and cybertruck are not allowed in europe. Thats interesting information that i learned that worth to share. By the way, in Lisbon they are using tesla as taxi that was my first tesla ive seen as taxi interesting.
I also just ordered my first Tesla model 3 with the white interior, picking it up this week 🙏. I read online that the white holds up well and is easy to clean, how have you found it?
I just drove one today, and with the hold setting, the breaking is quite aggressive, but you would have to ease on the go pedal to break slightly or perhaps change the settings to roll or creep. I don't own one but plan on getting very soon, and the breaking was a big wow moment. Definitely have to get used to it, but I think after 1 hour, I'm good.
@GForceIntel the faster you go and the slower you let up in the pedal the less aggressive regen is going to feel. If you let up on the pedal fast it will react faster and pull back much quicker. It’s a balance you will get use to once you drive it daily.

Ghost in the machine - Got our Model Y about 5 days ago. Really enjoying it. Turned on Sirius XM but now, I can't turn it off 😆 Seriously, I open the car and it starts playing. He told me to do what I did but if that didn't work, he said, and I quote, "Just mute it!" Seems..... odd not to be able to turn it off? You get in an ICE vehicle and power on/off the radio but not here - at least not that I've figured out. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks for the reply! Next question then - how do you pause an app? I would imagine whether it is sirius or spotify or another channel that pausing would be the same?
Isn't the over 80% the battery degrades bs? It just takes longer and longer to charge 1% as you go over 80%, so not efficient in terms of your time, but no battery issue

Say I’m running into a place to grab take out or a drink and got a teenager in car so I don’t want the climate control or music to stop playing. But I’m taking phone with me inside. Not a dumb question. It should sense someone in the seat and remain on. That usually works, but if not, you can always turn it on from the app, or enable "keep climate mode" (it's just a button, super easy) to keep the climate and car on while you're gone, but also keep it locked.
I've had mine 2 weeks and it disconnects from my phone multiple times a day. Annoying. If it happens just turn Bluetooth off for a couple seconds then turn it back on and it will connect

Yeah I don’t use the brakes, but FSD is slamming on the brakes so much I’m about to bill Elon lol

What is new here?
A lot of owners
If you car is in a very safe place and you want to save charging time, turn off Century Mode!
This is true!
Oh Puhlease! All this is pure B.S. My "Y model" spontaneously burst into flames and melted, burning my house to the ground with it, 2 days out from the show room. Insurance does NOT cover this thing, which I was not informed about but should have been, called thermal runaway. And my sons Cybertruck, yeah that thing that looks like it's been designed by an autistic 5 year old, and is supposed to be made of stainless steel, is RUSTING in the driveway. As you can guess, once again, the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. All up I wasted over $120.000. And to think the man profiteering from all of this B.S. is going to be running the United States of America. I would have been better off keeping my beautiful Buick Wildcat.
Is this sarcastic lol
@@vegasteslafamily I wish it was just sarcasm but alas it's not. Lost my new car, my holiday home on the Gold Coast and the Cybertruck I bought my son for his 30th birthday is sitting in his driveway rusting. If you have a Tesla, scrap it before it ruins your life. If you love your family, keep them away from these death traps.
@ you’re grossly misinformed. Have a good day
@@vegasteslafamily Yeah tell that to the insurance assessor when she tells you NO and she has a dirty big grin on her face.
All these Tesla videos repeat the same information.
Sorry!
No oil change but I'm spending a thousand dollars every 20k miles on tires 🤯🤯🤦♂️🤦♂️
Mine have 54k on them now 😬
Why?
@@grouponful stop you are totally clueless. The everyday driver gets way more mileage out of them than what you’re stating.
Useless video
Useless comment
Very minimal maintenance = replacing your tires which are twice as expensive as ICE vehicle tires every 20,000 miles. Yeah, no thanks.
Hmm mine have 54k miles now 🤔 and they use the same tires lol
Haters gonna hate..🥴
Lies were told here
Stop lying, I have a 38K original tires and they are not twice as expensive. Stop listening to haters.
@ Perhaps YOU should stop lying. Model 3 or Y tires are $300 to $500 each, and my ICE car’s tires are half that and easily go 50,000 miles. Most Tesla owners don’t get anywhere close to that range.
