In Indonesia for range 490km = Rp 425.000.000 its around 26.662 USD

Here in Brazil, Dolphin has been a MASSIVE success. I think it’s the most sold EV of all.
It costs from US$30,000 to US$36,000 depending on the range.
This price is not cheap, BYD’s products are considered affordable and cheap in the Chinese market. Later in our program we will film some more powerful electric vehicles in the Chinese market.
@@WareToGo_WTG here in indonesia the dolphin cost 28k usd. and wuling mini air ev cost 16k usd (standard range 200km) - 19k usd (long range 300km). Hyundai Ioniq 5 cost 50k usd
@@WareToGo_WTG Our currency is not very valued, but the Dolphin and Seagull is very successful here. They're both the best selling eletric cars of all time in Brazil.
@@jonitan76 Electric cars are too expensive in your country! BYD and Wuling are both cheap brands in China. I didn’t expect Korean cars to be more expensive!
@@WareToGo_WTG yeah even tesla cost 100k-150k usd depend on the model / range

Here in Philippines, BYD Dolphin is priced at $24,000 USD. Very competitive pricing compared to other EVs offered here.
It seems that the competition in the Philippines is not fierce enough. There are many surprising and affordable cars in the Chinese market.Next we will shoot some sporty cars and technology cars
I'm seriously considering this car for city commuter. Heard about BYD outselling Tesla, but the brand is very new here where I am, so looking for long term review for one of these. 谢谢你,朋友
BYD is more affordable because it makes its own batteries .And it has more models, so it outsells Tesla. If the same budget, I prefer to get Tesla
Great video! Do you have plans to review Xiaomi SU7 in the near future? 😁
Thanks for your comment!! 🤭🤭We really want to try Xiaomi, but no friends got the car. We tested Huawei's car today and the video is being edited. Subscribe to our channel and we will upload it soon
@@WareToGo_WTG looking forward to it! 😊
Would have appreciated if he could talk about whether there were some parts of the car that malfunctioned or tyre wear and paint scratches
Thanks for your comment. The owner of the car did not mention the problem of malfunction because he uses this car in the city and does not drive vigorously, so maybe he have no experience in these parts.
He is quite happy with the car and gave overall experience score of 7 and said VW ID3 is not as good. He also said MG4 has a better handling.
and he used to be an owner of Honda Fit.
He has two BYD cars , atto3 for family ,dolphin for himself.
@@WareToGo_WTG I wonder what ev at the same price bracket would score 8 or higher?
the owner want to say is that it would be better if the handling and appearance of the Dolphin could be improved.
@@WareToGo_WTG I would agree with addition of simplified interior design.
Is there any problems regarding to the aircon and wheels area? Shockbreakers, suspensions, steering rack and others? 🙏
I drove this car for about 1 hour
Feel the brisk steering and very flexible in urban area.
Because the size is small, the support when turning is also good, and you can't feel any roll.
MacPherson struts at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear are standard features for economy cars.
I drove it on city roads, and the comfort was fine.
But the car owner told me that because the multi-link suspension of the rear wheel only has 3 links, the comfort of the rear seat is not very good when the road conditions are bad.
As for the air conditioning, I didn't pay much attention to it. The car owner told me that remote air conditioning startup is very easy to use, especially in extreme weather in summer and winter. If you turn on the air conditioning in advance, you will be very happy when you get in the car.
Can someone clear doubt about range and its performance in steep areas after like 20k kms of running..
The car owner in the video usually commutes to company and from get off work, and currently has driven 10K kilometers. His saying may helps you.
Maybe we would interview him again after 20K kms of running. welcome to subscribe for more video
Here in Indonesia it costs from 26,488 USD
oh , the price is not friendly comparing with the home market
Uhm did I miss the translations for the owners 2 year experience?
you can turn on the subtitle, we have uploaded the English subtitle.😋
The dialect spoken by the car owner cannot be translated by the machine
Nice
thanks for your support😘
you can make a video about seagull after 1 year. thank you.
But I don’t have any friends who drive seagull. If I know who bought this car,we can make a video.
In Finland BYD Dolphin starts from 34990€ 😬
It's too expensive! !!!!
What dialect is your friend speaking??????? I understand Chinese usually but not his
hhhh, He speaks Sichuan dialect. You can turn on the English subtitle,we have uploaded several language's subtitle😂😂😂
Good car! Especially suitable for city like chongqing. The road in old area is so narrow, dolphin would be easy to pass.
Electric version of Fit
i dont understand th eowners comments
You can turn on the English subtitles, we have uploaded the English translation😄😄
why do so many of the catch fire in china ?
you mean the spontaneous combustion accident ?
According to fire police data in 2023, 18,360 fuel vehicles burned, with a spontaneous combustion rate of 0.58 per 10,000. There are 640 electric vehicles burned,, and the spontaneous combustion rate is 0.44 per ten thousand. Spontaneous combustion of EV can easily attract media attention. Spontaneous combustion of fuel vehicles is not news.Maybe this is why you feel like there are so many catch fire in China.
@@WareToGo_WTG Thanks for your honest and detailed answer that is backed by data. This guy @davebennett7934 trolls other videos about Chinese EVs claiming many fires. There are quite a few like him, who also claim poor quality and safety without owning these cars or even knowing someone who does.
@@WareToGo_WTG The concerning part is that most EVs are newer cars probably with average of 3 years old while the fuel vehicles most probably are older vehicles, vehicles that no longer under warranty and most likely under maintained. So naturally there should be a concern.
@@SinaArsani Yes, this is an important reason.
