+lou shulgin-smythe I agree, that is an extreme position. It also highlights how false rape allegations are not only damaging to the accused, but also damaging to true victims when it provokes people like Conversation Robot to jump to that kind of an extreme.

I'm the same. my heart goes out to actual victims, but I've got to look out for my own best interest, and those of my brother, nephews, and friends. Unfortunately this means disbelieving rape allegations unless there is real evidence proving a crime was committed.

^this. Females words have more weigh on this issue compared to mans, because not only is one of the talking points of feminism, a mans opinion is shunned and a pretty low number of women call out their own gender, thus when one of them does it's taken more serious by both -women and men

I was falsely accused of rape, she did it to get back at me for not wanting a relationship, she stopped before trial when the prosecutor told her she would be torn apart on the stand for jumping all over me thrusting her vagina in my face and afterwards she was riding in my car alone with me few hours by the beach. Nothing was in the papers, she wasn't prosecuted, it was dropped, after I had paid $7,000 lawyers fees. And now I know of other friends similar stories. I suggest it is common as women know there is seldom consequences. NOW being a high earning man women like to get my attention, I deliberately make them feel crap, when they see me in my nice car at my beachside house I ignore their advances, I am hostile if they talk to me!!!! And now you know why wealthy men ignore women.

If you ask me if a woman lies about being raped she should be sentenced to the exact same amount of time if a rape actually did happen so if a rape lands someone 30 years in prison then a false rape allegation should land them 30 years 🤗 that'll make them think twice

My sister was raped. When it happened, she didn't post about it on Facebook, InstaGram, Twitter, or Tumblr. She dialed 911. They told her to not shower and sent an ambulance. While receiving treatment, the police asked her questions. Their questions had nothing to do with whether or not they believed her, because *believing her is NOT their job*. _"Listen and believe"_ has NO PLACE in a criminal investigation of any kind. They asked her questions to get information to build a case. The rapist was caught in a matter of hours, and was locked away.
The problem with all of this rape mumbo-jumbo can be found in the definition, where women are conflating poor decisions with rape, in an attempt to protect their reputations, or maybe to exact revenge. To that, I say that if you're a woman, and you're asking yourself, *_"I wonder if I was raped,"_* then chances are good that you were not raped. If you're wondering whether or not you should dial 911, then you were not raped. Finally, if you forego 911 completely and post about it on social networking, then you definitely were not raped. You're a revenge-seeking piece of garbage, or maybe you just want attention. These are the actions of the morally bankrupt. Indeed, the woman in this story is morally bankrupt.
I've reacted emotionally to women's tears for the majority of my life. Looking back, I can see that this has been the source of most of my problems in life, from a manipulative ex-wife, to a woman who claimed to have cancer, and all in between. They all cried and put on Oscar-worthy performances. They took me for a ride, and I paid heavily. Today, a woman's tears mean nothing to me. I just don't care. I have my own problems, and no woman out there gives a shit, so at least we're even. NEVER fall for the tears.

    • @1funnybabe
      @1funnybabe 6 лет назад +33

There are good women out there. I myself hate when women abuse their vulnerability to manipulate a man such as by crying or making up a sob story. I don't easier make myself vulnerable and have cried in public only 3 times (at a funeral, in an airplane as I didn't get enough sleep and am frightened of flying so cried out of stressed and when I gave a presentation and revealed some personal info). I actually try hard to not cry, especially in public. A 'real' woman just doesn't manipulate a man. We take responsibility for our actions

Women can appear to be 'good' when it is in their interest to appear that way. Whether a woman appears to be good or not is usually a product of her circumstances and your relationship and usually very little to do with the personality of the woman.

Only works for a while. If enough crying wolf happens, protective instinct is replaced with dubious instinct. In fact, a study done at Carnegie Mellon looked into the threshold for when liars are automatically disbelieved. After a certain point, frequent criers are consistently sneered at, even if they're waterworks are legitimate.

I was falsely accused at work of sexual intimidation (someone felt intimidated by a meme I made up with only my best male friend in it. There was NO link to that particular girl in the meme I made up, and I never send it to her directly, she only saw it displayed once on my screen when she passed by!). I almost lost my job because of that allegation, and the women in HR really weren't very understanding also. I read the policy of my company, and it states that sexual intimidation exist from the moment the victim feels intimidated! There is absolutely no consideration of the intentions of the 'agressor' in that policy. So in a way all men in my company can be accused without discussion, because the only thing that counts is how she feels, not what happened nor the intentions of the 'agressor'.

  • @rebanx1

Women’s primary concern for their own security is a matter of common knowledge, but it should be becoming clearer that it isn’t limited to physical safety. It extends out into every facet of their lives. They also want to be insulated from emotional unpleasantness, to not have to fear even the remotest possibility of mishap, to be spared the discomfort of contradiction, to not be prosecuted for doing wrong - to not even have the suggestion that they can be wrong uttered or written where it may cause them distress.
It becomes blindingly obvious why no civilisation has ever been known in which women were the driving force.
How long can academia last when challenging feminine opinion is almost illegal? How long can justice last when female accusers and witnesses cannot be doubted, and female wrongdoers cannot be called to account? How long can commerce prosper if female performance cannot be criticised and paid in proportion to its perceived worth?
Think of every human endeavour, then think of how it would be altered if all element of risk was removed and all critical review of its performance edited so that no women could come away offended. Then stack that endeavour with women in all key positions. That’s the corrosion that is running rife through the West now and very soon will have completely consumed it. Then we will be back to the natural status quo of there being no civilization surviving where women are the driving force.
It all stems from women’s greater need for safety - their unspoken insistence on being protected and provided for, so long as those words aren’t used - and the cultural nonsense that men and women are the same.

Totally underrated comment. The original argument for safety and bodily autonomy has morphed into taking absolutely no responsibility for one’s self and demanding that external environments be curtailed to each individual woman’s current emotional state (hence manspreading, being looked at or talked to in public etc).

I remember when I was maybe 19, and I witnessed a tearful argument between a couple, as I was out on a pier behind my college dorm. I grew concerned as the yelling escalated. The girl was crying hard, pleading with the guy. The guy was disgusted, by the look of it. He began to walk away. She grabbed his hand and tried to pull him back, and sobbing "No!!!" He used the momentum of her pulling him to whirl around and deliver the most forceful slap I'd ever seen. It was so hard, it sent her stumbling, and she fell on her knees. The guy stalked off, and she was sobbing on the ground. I was utterly shocked at what I'd just seen. When he was gone, I approached her tentatively to see if she was okay. That slap was so hard I thought she might've been dazed.
I asked if she was okay and if I could help her, as there were benches nearby. She looked at me and screamed, "NO! FUCKING MEN! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME! FUCKING MEN!" I backed off. I said, "I just wanted to check if you were okay. He hit you pretty hard. Do you want me to call the campus police?" And then she said something I have never forgotten, 15 years later.
"No! Leave me alone! Get the fuck away from me or I'll tell the police YOU did this!"
I was gobsmacked. I just looked at her, then turned and left. That incident has never left my memory. I understand she was hurt and emotional in the heat of the moment, but the thought that she actually would lie and say I did the assault made me go cold. I was 19, and I never looked at women the same way again.

Trust me, everyone jumped on the bandwagon, i was already struggling myself because of my mental health and noone talked to me and i was often beaten by some boys who liked those girls. I was ashamed of telling anyone because i was bullied so often for long and so intensely, and gaslighted, that i started to question my own sanity and thought they are right, basically brainwashed due to the bullying because i also had social anxiety and i had a terrible self esteem.
Dont worry though, karma will get those bastards, im healing, i still have some flashbacks because i also have cptsd from those events because that was something i never saw coming, i didnt know some people could be like this.

What the actual eff? That's a COMPLETE disregard for the legal system/justice being done. In this country, we are effing innocent until PROVEN guilty! And, last I checked, that involved DNA, fingerprints, and other eyewitness testimony, NOT just the accusation of the accuser. That's freaking BS. America is QUICKLY becoming a dangerous place for men/boys. Like a middle eastern man said in a church that I went to: "Women in this country (America) are VERY powerful." So, it also lends credence to the thought that this whole Gender Gap Wage is bs as well. Dang.

The one in 5 number comes from the AAU study. 780,000 women were invited to respond to a questionnaire. Of those, 630,000 did not bother to respond. 150,000 did. Of those, about 34,500 (about 4.4% of those questioned, or 23% of those responding) said yes to questions about forced penetration, intercourse while intoxicated, intercourse without explicit, ongoing consent, or being touched in a sexual way over clothes, or kissed without explicit, ongoing consent. All of these are called sexual assault. Kissing or hugging a partner without explicit, ongoing consent is sexual assault. By these criteria, intimate partners who show affection commit sexual assault on each other multiple times a day, every day.

I consider myself a feminist on the basis that I want to talk about the instances of gender discrimination in both our culture and other cultures around the world and try to remedy them. This video is a FANTASTIC look at what other feminists refuse to discuss. Toxic femininity is just as real as toxic masculinity, but it's never punished or taken seriously as a problem, and it's tearing our culture apart.
It's also deepening the cultural divide between men and women, which is the opposite of what needs to happen in order for people to be treated as equals.

I looked this up to see what happened to her and it still isn't resolved. She tried to claim she had a 'psychiatric illness', got an evaluation and then asked the judge to put her into an 'accelerated rehabilitation' program, which would have given her two years probation. That was just rejected by the judge last month so now it looks like it may go to trail. The judge specifically mentioned the hell that she put the men through as the reason why she is not eligible.
Maybe things are finally beginning to change.

Speaking of lying about rape, the trial of a British university student by the name of Liam Allen ended today when it was discovered that the police had failed to disclose tens of thousands of text messages from the accuser asking for more sex from the guy she accused of raping her. He had been banned by the university from attending classes for two years leading up to the trial and had spent time in prison.

The issue is not the percentage of false rape, the issue is that they are targeted at men with a high profile(male celebrities, business men, politicians etc). It always has a highly damaging effect on how all men are seen that way. And it opens a door of blackmailing the victim and making cheap millions of dollars.

While I still believe that these cases are the exception and that most people who claim to be raped aren't lying; this type of willful deception hurts all of us. I hope that she receives the same punishment that those young men (who have been shamed, tarnished and humiliated) would have received.
This wasn't a case of there being a grey area of doubt oR a 'heat of the moment' misunderstanding or disregard, this was a calculated effort to destroy two people's lives for vanity. It's deplorable...

Why are the words 'toxic masculinity' the ones that roll off the tongue?? Why are the words toxic femininity so taboo? Ugh... I think because we're family, and we love each other, my views are slowly penetrating her mind, i hope so at least, for her sake and her husband's (my dear brother's) sake... both are about as blue pill as you can imagine. Correction: 8% per year. Just cause the police found out it was false, doesn't mean they stopped claiming they were raped to the public. If you accumulated this to when women hit the wall (so the span from 24 to 30, but with me too, maybe 50) the actual number of lying harpies can be calculated as a proportion of the population rather than a rate.

  • @TheMuph

I think psychopathic narcissism is something women evolved in order to survive and thrive in the world. If you care about your actions negatively effecting others you won't do what you have to do in order to acquire the resources you are hoping to take from them through deceit and manipulation. It's like they say "You can't have a conscience in the pimp game". Women are VERY good at justifying the most terrible actions IF they belief the benefit towards them outweighs any negative consequences. Why do you think there are all these stories of wives convincing someone else to murder their husbands for insurance money? Usually these are women with no criminal background or history of physical violence but the allure of money and the desire for a new and exciting life is so enticing they convince themselves it is ok to murder someone in order to achieve this end! When they are caught they play the victim and say it was all their boyfriends idea.

I guess he thought about all of the nagging and arguments and less than mediocre sex and her screwed up emotions. To make a long story short... ...She divorced him and took half, and she called him selfish. You know what he told me after his divorce was final? "Dammit! I should've just saved the dog!" "I missed a great opportunity to be a M.G.T.O.W. Man!" Soooo, Men, even in a life-and-death situation. Don't be Captain Save-A-Hoe!" Please don't!! (for men sake)

So if it's around 32%, then roughly a 3rd of all rape accusations are false and that doesn't include the men who are wrongly convicted through the court system. If the studies don't include the men who have been imprisoned and then were later found to have been innocent, the figure could be closer to 50% or probably much more.
A proper study needs to be done correlating all the figures, if it is over 50%, if the statistic is made public, it'll be a major blow to the rape narrative and perhaps then laws can be enacted to combat this problem.

  • @Zagg777

Women's attitudes towards sexual encounters determines what constitutes rape for them. As those attitudes can change over time, whether or not a sexual encounter is rape changes over time. Sometimes women just flat-out lie about rape, on other occasions is just that they've changed their minds about what they've done.

This happened to meet at college. I really really liked this girl and she told me a guy raped her. So naturally I got mad and her friends helped her get him expelled. Later on I found out she lied and so did her friends. She called me crying saying sorry and I for gave her. Later on she started talking to another guy who she said raped her. However I understand because mentally and emotionally she was very unhealthy. Raised super super religious and ashamed of her sexuality. She also tried to do the same to me but I didn’t fall for that shit and kept all my text messages.

  • @GuyLogen
    @GuyLogen 5 лет назад

I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s only rape if it mentally affected the victim and their ability to live their life. Because if we go based on the act of forcing someone to have sex with you without their consent then there are countless times women have done that to men, or men and women go drinking and both consenting to sex only for the women in the aftermath to say that she was raped because she wasn’t in a mental state to give consent (essentially pitting the entire blame on the man). Men usually react by eventually accepting the women’s advances or in the aftermath not charge the woman with anything because he wasn’t mentally affected by it to a point where it was detrimental to his life. So in that sense I can get why women sometimes feel a certain way and after a while come out and say “yes I was raped” because if not, any sexual advance & intercourse without the constant consent from both parties is considered as rape and the perpetrator should be charged regardless of if the “victim” wants to press charges.
Now my second thought of why I think more women come out and claim being raped than men is because of the issue of powerlessness. Often times men are the more stronger more aggressive gender compared with women and there is a great percentage of women that feel threatened and afraid of men than men are of other men. This large percentage and irrational/rational fear is because of the fact that men are genetically predisposed to being stronger and more aggressive than our female counterparts. There are a large percentage of men although may respect women, do not fear them (atleast not in a physical battle) even if there are reasonable grounds for fear (maybe the woman is bigger than you or is more active than you) because of the fact that men believe in their own aggression and strength. This is all most likely due to evolution but also enforced through social stereotypes and constructs. And this undermining of a woman’s physical strength is what removes most of the fear towards a woman and therefore the perception that she could ever or did ever dominate us (men). This is my hypothesis as to why women often are the victims of rape rather than men and some men might not even process them being raped as rape. Which fits back nicely into my initial point that rape is more the mental trauma experienced by the victim from a sexual ill-counter rather than the non-consensual sexual encounter itself. And therefore the victim does decide if they were raped or sexually assaulted or not.
So it’s entirely possible for a victim to experience a sexual ll-encounter, take some time to process it without an initial negative reaction other than, it didn’t feel right, and later when the realisation of the incident causes them mental distress and therefore potential trauma and therefore coming to the conclusion that they were raped. That’s why some women may wait longer than most but also I agree that a small minority of women will take advantage of the situation and fake claims of rape. And because we can’t accurately measure and differentiate emotional distress and mental trauma with great acting and lies, most people are left with the choice to “trust the victim” rather than question them because the chance of accusing someone of lying and getting it wrong may greatly affect their already broken mental state and the backlash would be much more grand then to agree with the victim and still be wrong.
