TMFJ here fellas lol. Thanks so much. Up next: Tremonti “My Last Mistake” Mark Tremonti is the lead guitarist in Alter Bridge. Get it in fellas!! Will not steer you wrong!!! Alter Bridge and Tremonti are the best and most underrated bands but are huge in Europe. Great reaction guys. Blackbird was written about a friend of the lead singer Myles Kennedy who died young from cancer.
ArranTank oh no way I didn't know this was his band. If Ryan wants a serious guitar song he should check out anastasia by Slash (guns 'n' roses guitarist in case he's not aware) it's this guy singing.
I love the Myles tracks on Slash's self-titled, but there's also an M. Shadows track on that called Nothing to Say that is awesome. That whole self-titled album is full of good stuff IMO
Here is a quote from Myles Kennedy, the writer and singer, about this song: "Blackbird" was inspired lyrically by a friend of mine named Mark Morse. He sold me my first guitar when I was a kid, and we stayed friends for years and years. He actually passed away right as that song was being completed so it was dedicated to him and his memory. It's really about seeing the suffering he was going through and hoping he would find his solace soon and be free from all of that.

Good choice. Favorite band after hearing many many attempts at quality music from others. Large quantity of good bands, but this is a step beyond that. Good call!

Great suggestion Rick! For my tastes he's the GOAT as far as rock/metal vocalists. That's being said, I was surprised to find myself most impressed with Myles' vocals closing out a (great) song he did with Mayfield Four called "12/31". ruclips.net/video/XIXRjw1Oye0/видео.html
Hands down Alter Bridge's best song, and one that resonates with me so much. This album came out around the time when my cousin passed away, and I fell in love with it because it reminded me of him. You two made a great analysis on the song, and solidified what I think this channel is all about. Keep up the great work!
Oh my gosh. I never expected you guys to react to this song. This song is literally my favorite ever written, Vegas. Two years ago, i was going through i really hard time in my life. And i happened to discover this song, and this band. I had this song on repeat for about a week straight, and if not for this song i wouldn't be here. Alter Bridge is the best band i have ever heard, and i encourage you to react to more of their songs. Thank you for the reaction, it was awesome!
I lost my grandmother a year ago and a good friend of mine showed me that song and it honestly helped me with the grieving process so much! Everytime I listen to it I dedicate it to my grandmother.

Watching your reactions and seeing how music moves you guys puts a huge smile in my soul. You guys are rapidly growing to be my favorite reaction channel. I enjoy how you guys can break each part of the song into sections and explain your thoughts. But also experiencing new music for the first time with you guys is a damn journey and I want to say thank you guys for creating this channel. Seriously thank you.
Aleksandar Dragovic Tako je Alekse, majstore... Badass and again, broken down from the unique and true (and funny) perspective from these guys. Love this chanel boiiiiiii!
Great song, one of my absolute favorites! Thanks Todd, for suggesting it and thanks Ryan & George for the reaction/review. This song gets me right in my feelings❤️
I have a suggestion guys: when pausing the song, please rewind 5-10 secs before playing it again. As someone who knows pretty much all the metal song you are reviewing, the paused section often stops at a good transition with the next part. It is in my opinion important to have the full connection/transition between the parts of the song. Example here would be the 10:15 paused section just before the solo. Hope that makes sense :) I really enjoy your metal review and appreciate the free thinking!
junk face not always. I've seen them skip ahead at those points as well. The last slayer video they did that a lot. Long video but it much of the song. Lol. Not hating just pointing that out.
Another great reaction, guys! Alter Bridge is a pretty special band and you've just heard one of their very best songs (and the guitar solo was voted the best guitar solo of all time by Guitarist magazine back in 2011). Their range is simply incredible from more introspective stuff like this to straight-up metal - - they can do it all. But for some reason they've just never broke through into the upper echelon. As a fan of music in general, it's actually embarrassing that they've never gotten the proper recognition. Myles Kennedy - - their vocalist is simply one of the best vocalists in all of rock and metal. So good, in fact, that when Led Zeppelin (who you should totally check out, if you haven't) couldn't make a reunion happen with Robert Plant they called this guy to come audition. So, for future Alter Bridge reactions check out Slip to the Void, Words Darker than Their Wings, Poison In Your Veins, Cry of Achilles, Addicted to Pain, Metalingus. Shit, there's so many to choose from, really.
Totally agree, Tom. One of the best bands around, IMO. I'll never forget the first time I heard them. Personally, my next vote for review would be Metalingus but any by AB would do.
So happy to see you guys listen to this one! Such an incredibly well written song. The emotions in both the vocals and Tremonti's guitar work are simply stunning. Crazy to think this band used to be Creed, right? Keep rockin' guys. Great job on this one! 🤘
Alice in Chains-Nutshell Alice in Chains-Down in a hole Pantera-Cemetery Gates Rainbow-Kill the King Rainbow-Stargazer Led Zeppelin-Since I've been loving you Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven
The solo from Blackbird won Ultimate Guitar's user poll for best solo EVER. No small feat considering some of the solos out of the classic rock era. Welcome to Alter Bridge Nation boys, it's a great place to be.
agree and that's what put this solo over the top. its not about technical altho this has its moments its about feel and this Solo has complete feel. complete feel meaning you don't have to know how to play guitar but can be moved by it. very few people reach that level in there Guitar playing. Tremonti is A God when it comes to doing that with his solos
I feel ashamed... I literally refused to listen to Alter Bridge for years because of my hatred of all things related to Creed. This is so amazing in every way. Thank you! Music should be real and emotional and this is both to the extreme. I loved every bit of it.
Highly recommend Alter Bridge and all of their work. The most underrated band in the world, and in my opinion, one the the greatest. Their vocals, songwriting and guitar playing are a rare elite combination. For me, they are second to none.
Alter Birdge is my favourite band of all time and Blackbird is my favourite song by them. Myles Kennedy, in my opinion, has the most amazing voice in rock/metal today.
Myles Kennedy has one of THE most amazing rock vocals of all time. His range and control are phenomenal. Slash and Myles together is amazing as well. Check out some of the songs they worked together on. Starlight really shows his vocal ability.
Alter bridge is the shit. You guys should definitely return to this band. They have many good songs. Addicted to Pain, Broken Wings, Cry of Achilles, ect..
Ryan, you and George in my opinion have already left a significant mark on the world in bringing together such a diverse group of audiophiles to just enjoy good music across wide range of genres, and I salute you both. This is my favorite Alter Bridge song, and to me I agree that this is a perfect song, and I am somewhat ashamed I didn't think to request it. The first half of the solo is played by the singer, and while it is technical simple, it conveys an amazing amount of emotion, which is almost as important. The second more technical half is played by their lead guitarist, but it still maintains enough emotiveness to keep your attention. Love it! Keep it up guys!
Thank you for reacting. Myles Kennedy is my all time favorite vocalist, in one concert he said that this song is about his long lost friend who helped him through his tough times(not sure).Do checkout some of his acoustic stuffs as well 🙂
I'm glad you guys did this reaction. Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of my 13 year old daughter I lost on my birthday. I hope to see her again someday...
I cannot imagine. I'm so sorry for something so horrible and unnecessary to have happened to your daughter and you as well. You will see her again but until then please try to live with your head up as someone she would be proud of if she was still with us physically. I wish you the best.
I’ve wanted you guys to hear Alter Bridge and this song for so long! I knew you would love it! Blackbird is possibly Alter’s Bridge’s best song, but that’s because it’s amazing and deserves to be up there with the greatest songs of all-time, but everything else they produce is great. They offer a really wide catalog. Heavier stuff you could give a shot would be Metalingus, Ties That Bind, Come to Life, White Knuckles, Isolation, Addicted to Pain, Farther Than the Sun, Cry of Achilles, Crows on A Wire, Island of Fools. Some lighter tracks of theirs would be Open Your Eyes, In Loving Memory, Broken Wings, Watch Over You, Rise Today, Ghost of Days Gone By, Wonderful Life. Hope you guys get to experience more AB!
Thank you, +Lost In Vegas , but also, thank you Todd. You guys just reviewed one of my favorite songs by my favorite band that came out post-2000. Myles' vocal ability is astonishing, Tremonti's guitar work is criminally underrated, Brian & Scott's rhythm section is tighter than a virgin's...Nevermind, but it's unbelievably tight! Keep up the good shit, Lost In Vegas, make sure to cover more stuff by Alter Bridge & check out Tremonti as well!
Fun fact, first part of the solo is played by the lead vocalist, he's an amazing guitarist and this song is so sad. Alter Bridge is an amazing band. React to Calm the Fire please. that's their song about racism and it's beyond amazing and so touching but heavy as this song. You're gonna love it!
Fun fact number 2...Myles Kennedy takes over for Mark Wahlberg's character at the end of the movie Rock Star when Steel Dragon is on stage and 'Izzy' is having a change of heart.
Easily one of my favorite reaction, fellas!! You did Alterbridge!!! ;) Some little facts... Alterbridge is pretty much the band (if you've ever heard of them) Creed, without Scott Stahp. When Miles Kennedy took over for vocals and they created Alterbridge... Musical Magic infused!! This is one of my favorite bands! I own their entire discography!! First song I ever heard by them was "Open Your Eyes" off their very first album. Incredible vocal work!! If I were to suggest a next song from them, it would be any of these other masterpieces:Open Your EyesRise TodayAll Ends WellCry Of AchillesIsolationCome To Life Great video, fellas!! Salute from Detroit!!
I had never heard of Alter Bridge until I had seen a video of Disturbed and Myles Kennedy perform the Sound of Silence in Houston. His vocals were amazing. So naturally I looked him up. Found this song and then found y'all's reaction video. Y'all give the best reactions.
16:17 George playing the drums on the table AND his head is funny lmao. But damn this band Alter Bridge went to business with this song man. Every member of the band is on point and they created this great feeling from their music that really catches your attention. Big shoutout the the Singer because I give him a SANGIN award because his vocal ability showed me that he wasn't just singing but he is SANGIN !!! Big thanks to Alter Bridge, Lost In Vegas and Todd Jackson !!
I love Myles Kennedy, as a singer, songwriter, and guitar player. HUGE fan. He has about a four octave vocal range. His lyrics have such meaning, that many can relate to. If you liked this song, may I suggest you check out Calm The Fire? Beautiful vocals, (if the opening solo doesn't give you chills, nothing will), guitars, and the lyrics are POWERFUL... His first solo album is coming out in March, and I can't wait!! ☮❤️🎶
Myles Kennedy is the greatest rock vocalist ever. Period. There is nothing that guy can't sing perfectly. Cannot wait for the year of the tiger to drop :)
Never got into Alter Bridge because I thought Creed was awful. After watching this video I bought the entire Blackbird album. It's phenomenal from beginning to end. Thanks for turning me onto this guys! I never thought a couple of black dudes from the city would introduce me to some great rock and country that I never heard. Been a fan since Holy Wars and glad I stumbled across the channel. Keep up the good work. 🤘🏻
I absolutely love to hear things like that!! I hope people like Lost in Vegas get more rock and metal guys into Hip Hop also! I think if more people were open minded about music we would be a better place!! Myles Kennedy is the one person that I would put up there with Chris Cornell as far as pure talent and emotion in vocals.
Voted "best solo of all time" a few years back. This song just screams "epic masterpiece". If this was a song from the 70s it would most definitely be considered a classic, on par with let's say Stairway to Heaven.
The Myles/Mark solo in this song is, without a doubt, my absolute #1 favorite rock solo, by any performer, of ALL time. And I've heard a lot of music in my ripe old age. 😂
You dudes FELT that shit. So glad to see that. This song is epic, and that singer is one of the best in rock today. Love that stank face when that chorus hits! Haha! You guys got another subscriber from this reaction.
Time for some Chris Cornell on this channel. Do Soundgarden or Audioslave. Or Tempe Of The Dog, song Say Hello 2 Heaven, for example for amazing vocals and music.
Totally agree, Chris Cornell was one of the best vocalists in rock, Temple of The Dog Say Hello 2 Heaven is such a beautiful song, I actually get a lump in my throat whenever I listen to that song now. Chris is sadly missed.
As a metal fan I'm kind of reacting to this with you guys I've never heard this before. I have done this with other songs and added him to my playlist I think this one is one of them that I'm going to do that
James Linke they have plenty of great songs like this. If you are into heavier music I definitely suggest anything by Tremonti or other alter bridge songs like metalingus and white knuckles
Alter Bridge - Cradle to The Grave, The Last Hero, Cry of Achilles, Fortress, Slash's Snakepit - Beggars & Hangers On, Neither Can I, Serial Killer, Ain't Life Grand, Pantera - Cementery Gates, Cowboys From Hell, Mouth For War, Revolution Is My Name.
Older albums are easier to listen, Fortress and The Last Hero are much more demanding. Chord progressions, lyrics, Myles' involvement as lead guitar, arrangements, basically everything evolved. "Blackbird" was the best song they've ever made (GODGB was close though), they couldn't beat it with any song from ABIII. I'm happy they went in such heavy and complex direction. Alter Bridge started with very "Creedy" approach, now they're doing their own thing as last two albums prove it very well. After so many years as a guitar player, I find "One Day Remains" very boring. I still like those songs but they won't pleasure my ears as much as Fortress or The Last Hero.
Yeah ! I knew that you guys would've loved this one. Myles Kennedy is one of the few ear pleasing vocalists with incredible raw power. You guys are awesome !
Hey Ryan George. My names Chris. I love this video and this Chanel.this song really reached me ... A few week's ago I lost my little brother to suicide and it was one of the hardest things I ever had to go trough. He was my best friend. He suffered from depression for a long time and lost the fight when was 15....I've been listening to Breaking Benjamin. Angles fall. And it helped me see how he felt towards the end and how he was suffering alone.. I hope that you will do a reaction review to this song not for me, but in the hopes that someone might see and know that they do not suffer alone, and that there are people there that love them and will walk them trough the darkness
Much love brother, this is unfathomable for most of us, but sharing this kind of heartbreak touches people in ways you can’t understand. Love to you and your family
Last Call thank you it's been a rough couple weeks for everyone.....theres just more unanswered questions than answers...the hard part is he was suffering in front of us and none of us saw it soon enough...thanks for the love
Not to shadow the band as a whole, but the Myles Kennedy/Mark Tremonti mash up is amazing. Kennedy's vocals w Tremontis godlike guitar.. epic. I definitely would recommend checking out more of Alterbridge. The true appreciation is live w Tremontis stage presence alone.
What's even more impressive about these band is they sound absolutely amazing live. There's a live version of this song from Wimbley, I think, and it's spot-fucking-on. Absolutely amazing haha
Ok, I have now watched this reaction video at least 20 times now....I have always loved this song (I want this played at my funeral), but I cant get enough of your reactions...this is a masterpiece!!
you guys should definitely listen to in loving memory by alter bridge, it's such a beautiful song, mark tremonti wrote it about his mother's passing, you guys will absolutely appreciate it
The solo on this song (which is actually two "solos" intertwined and played by singer Myles and guitarist Mark, was voted the greatest guitar solo of all time years ago by Guitar One magazine.
Sitting here so sick and seeing that you uploaded made me feel so much better! I love you guys! 😆 I'm not gonna say what I think you should react to next cause you already know lol ....pst soundgarden 😉
Woooooowwwwww I did not see this one coming guys. You really made my day with this. This song hits really close to home. One of my favorite songs of all time by one of my favorite bands. Btw this was a tribute for one of the band's friends, who was dying of cancer, if I'm not mistaken. Your reaction to this was almost exactly like mine. Watching these videos reminds me of the first time I heard these songs. Please don't stop doing what you're doing, you guys are great, I don't think you realize what a great thing you're all doing by making these videos. Please keep making more. If you liked this song, try "Broken Wings" or "In Loving memory". Anyway, they do not have one bad song in their repertoire. Keep it up guys, you're both modern day heroes. mine.

This review got me into Alter Bridge and Tremonti several, several months ago and now that combination---Alter Bridge and Mark's band Tremonti---are up there with my very favorite rock of all time. I didn't realize they were putting out the quality of music they've put out. Absolutely killer. And Tremonti has risen to that top tier of my fave guitarists. Thanks fellas!!!!
If they are going to react to Porcupine Tree, they should react to Hatesong the live version, the drumming in that song is absolutely amazing, plus Steven's soloing is phenomenal :)
Hatesong is great, agreed it would have to be the live version! I like Trains more in terms of songcraft, but that would be better at showcasing Gavin's drumming.
TMFJ here fellas lol. Thanks so much. Up next: Tremonti “My Last Mistake” Mark Tremonti is the lead guitarist in Alter Bridge. Get it in fellas!! Will not steer you wrong!!! "I don't give a fuck how complex you can play an instrument... Can you make me FEEL something?" Perfectly said.
That right there represents dream theater... amazing playing but little heart
Absolutely. You can have all the technique in the world, but if you can't make the person listening to you feel something, it ain't art.
Perfectly said ²
Myles Kennedy + Mark Tremonti is a combo that never does any wrong
Timofey Dineen Words Darker Than Their Wings and Waters Rising: great dueling vocals!

This!
I'll third that... let it be done!
Yes, they should listen to the entire Blackbird album. They will love it.
Metalingus (Edge's theme song) would be dope 😎😎
Yes please listen to watch over you by Alter Bridge
Myles Kennedy's voice is unbelievable. Beast.

I agree... Got to capture the opening pick grind and initial bend into Miles solo... Epic
PANTERA - CEMETERY GATES ( full version )
I´m with you on that! Melodic mixed with heavy parts make for some of the best songs ever made, to me anyway.
George Marko YYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSS has to be the full version
VADER - Helleluyah
ruclips.net/video/AhsxaLXSN64/видео.html
Great song but they won't like it. They will say it's just long for the sake of being long blah blah blag
Or domination
The solo is so great because it doesn't ignore the melody just to do something technical. Something most guitar players just dont understand.
The band shared this on their Facebook page! Awesome! One of my favourite bands of all time. This solo in this song still gives me goosebumps
Top solo's of all time
Another great reaction, guys!
Agree 100%
Totally agree, Tom. One of the best bands around, IMO. I'll never forget the first time I heard them. Personally, my next vote for review would be Metalingus but any by AB would do.
So happy to see you guys listen to this one! Such an incredibly well written song. The emotions in both the vocals and Tremonti's guitar work are simply stunning. Crazy to think this band used to be Creed, right? Keep rockin' guys. Great job on this one! 🤘
JasonParadise Why are you commenting here when you could be sight read FC'ing more meme songs?
Small world out here. Not the place I was expecting to find jparaMeme.
jason is cool, alter bridge sucks
wha- hello there didn't know you enjoyed alter bridge that much
Guitar and songwriting genius behind Creed!
Guys, PLEASE jump on Words Darker Than Their Wings Live at the Royal Albert Hall from Alter Bridge. It is absolutely phenomenal.
Really is amazing.
Phenomenal song, Best Band Ever, amazing live performance!! Unbelievable!!
That song is actually Mark and Myles going back and forth to each other about their spiritual beliefs
Alice in Chains-Nutshell
Alice in Chains-Down in a hole
Pantera-Cemetery Gates
Rainbow-Kill the King
Rainbow-Stargazer
Led Zeppelin-Since I've been loving you
Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven
ZAPHYROS nutshell is a crazy good song.
Yeah Rainbow
Great Alice In Chains requests!
ZAPHYROS it's a list, not particular order as far as best or worst suggestions. I've been posting Cemetery Gates on all the videos they put up
The solo from Blackbird won Ultimate Guitar's user poll for best solo EVER. No small feat considering some of the solos out of the classic rock era. Welcome to Alter Bridge Nation boys, it's a great place to be.
Recency Bias
The solo from Megadeth's Tornado of Souls is hard to beat man.
To be able to blend high technical skill with no small amount of emotion is something many hard rock/metal guitarists don't do all that well.
agree and that's what put this solo over the top. its not about technical altho this has its moments its about feel and this Solo has complete feel. complete feel meaning you don't have to know how to play guitar but can be moved by it. very few people reach that level in there Guitar playing. Tremonti is A God when it comes to doing that with his solos
it's a great solo. BUT not the best EVER.
I feel ashamed... I literally refused to listen to Alter Bridge for years because of my hatred of all things related to Creed. This is so amazing in every way. Thank you! Music should be real and emotional and this is both to the extreme. I loved every bit of it.
Michael Hadley , yep me too, I definitely need to reconsider. That was fantastic.
Michael Hadley Tremonti is one of the greatest guitarists of this era. I never liked Creed but always thought he was great even back then
Creed was awesome too. I really don't get the unjustified hatred...
Nah it sucks
I'm with Brian Reynolds, Creed was my favorite for the longest time. What was I missing?
Another fun fact, Myles Kennedy the lead singer, was the kid Mark Wahlberg pulled up on stage to be his replacement in the movie "Rockstar".
That's a cool fact! Did not know that, going to revisit! Thanks!
Not true. it wasn't a movie it was a documentary....
korey benner
And he absolutely stole the show. Myles was the best part of the movie 😂
and the only one whose actual voice was used.
Highly recommend Alter Bridge and all of their work. The most underrated band in the world, and in my opinion, one the the greatest. Their vocals, songwriting and guitar playing are a rare elite combination. For me, they are second to none.
Been listening to Blackbird for a long time and it never fails to send chills up my spine and have me in tears. Powerful song and powerful lyrics.
right?
Alter Birdge is my favourite band of all time and Blackbird is my favourite song by them. Myles Kennedy, in my opinion, has the most amazing voice in rock/metal today.
Tim Olley while i agree that Alter Bridge is great. I dont think Myles has the greatest voice in Metal today
I recommend Either Addicted to Pain ( popular ), isolation, or Broken Wings ( Personal Favorite )
Thanks Jacob!
Thank you for reacting. Myles Kennedy is my all time favorite vocalist, in one concert he said that this song is about his long lost friend who helped him through his tough times(not sure).Do checkout some of his acoustic stuffs as well 🙂
Bitwn Brahma totally agree
I'm glad you guys did this reaction. Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of my 13 year old daughter I lost on my birthday. I hope to see her again someday...
I cannot imagine. I'm so sorry for something so horrible and unnecessary to have happened to your daughter and you as well. You will see her again but until then please try to live with your head up as someone she would be proud of if she was still with us physically. I wish you the best.
So glad you did this! I've been requesting it too! Best song I've ever heard - so underrated. Try Alter Bridge - Cry of Achilles
Joe Franklin I dig that Architects pic. Awesome band
SirWalrusCauliflower Yeah! Can't wait to see them in London soon! They're my favourite band with Alter Bridge 2nd.
Joe Franklin that would be an awesome show. I'm definitely jealous. Enjoy it!!
Will do! :D
i requested them this song 2 days back!! so glad
Alter bridge cry of achilles next! So glad you reacted to this, genuinely gives goosebumps 300 listens later especially that guitar solo!
I bought the album after watching the reaction.
Storm Winds what was your opinion of the album?
One of my favorite albums of all time
Rob Jarrett loved it its a cut above everything else I've heard from them.
Check One Day Remains album too 😉
Outstanding album. One of the few albums I listen to in it's entirety a lot..
Storm Winds me toooooi
One of the very few songs that can get me teary eyed. Hell of a track. One of the all time greats.
Subscribed just because you reacted to Alter Bridge!!!
Shamsher Khudurun that’s what I’m talking about!
Still such an underrated band
So did i!
I did as well
Me too
me too
When George makes the stank face you know that shits hard lmao
That's his orgy face.
Fun fact about the solo: Myles does the first part of the solo, and Mark does the second part. You can hear the tone change when mark starts playing.
Mark Tremonti is SO underrated!👍
As I like to say, Myles makes his guitar weep and then Mark takes it home
PetarBlade Štrok i has to privilege of seeing alter bridge in concert with disturbed and breaking Benjamin
PetarBlade Štrok awesome song from an awesome album
Fun fact number 2...Myles Kennedy takes over for Mark Wahlberg's character at the end of the movie Rock Star when Steel Dragon is on stage and 'Izzy' is having a change of heart.
It's actually a dual solo between Myles and Mark.
Appalachian .. which is considered one the best dual solo of all times by some all time greats
One of my favorite songs of all time! Loved your review...perfect!
Best description of this solo I've ever heard: "Its a tribute". Tremonti is a beast.
3:20: You've dicovered Myles Kennedy.
EddieGuy VH.... hahahah!
yeah !!!
EddieGuy VH and the heavens opened up, and glory was found. Myles has the best voice of our time.
Myles Kennedy was actually hired bye Led Zeppelin to sing before Robert Plant decided he would, but never happen... boo
Looooove Myles Kennedy ❤❤❤❤
Easily one of my favorite reaction, fellas!! You did Alterbridge!!! ;) Some little facts... Alterbridge is pretty much the band (if you've ever heard of them) Creed, without Scott Stahp. When Miles Kennedy took over for vocals and they created Alterbridge... Musical Magic infused!! This is one of my favorite bands! I own their entire discography!! First song I ever heard by them was "Open Your Eyes" off their very first album. Incredible vocal work!! If I were to suggest a next song from them, it would be any of these other masterpieces:Open Your EyesRise TodayAll Ends WellCry Of AchillesIsolationCome To Life
Great video, fellas!! Salute from Detroit!!
Josh Marsiglia Alter Bridge is two words.
Scott Stahp, you had me giggling. Also a second vote on All Ends Well. It's SO GOOD and it's actually positive. The mood of the song is perfect.
Ghost - Cirice
Awesome video guys!
Myles embodies Sangin, you are 100% correct.
John Wolfhooker please :)
These guys are underrated, probably why you haven't seen much requests of them, but it's a amazing song hands down.
I think it is because Alter Bridge are fratboy metal, only liked by the same ppl who are into Sum 41 and Weezer, and have never heard of Slayer.
LVX156 that's bullshit.
LVX156 actually Alter Bridge are liked by those whose love metal in general. They're a highly respected band.
My boy Myles Kennedy. One of the best rock vocalists still around. Saw him live a few years back singing for Slash's solo tour. Fucking blew me away.
remember him at the end of the movie rockstar. he was the one that stepped on stage to take over
The BEST reaction I have ever seen for this song! thanks for getting it!
STEVE VAAAAAAAI, PLEEEEEASE. For The Love Of God live, that shit's GREAT. I know you're gonna love it.
Marco Rojas Yes!
You should buy One Day Remains album too 😉
I absolutely love to hear things like that!!
I hope people like Lost in Vegas get more rock and metal guys into Hip Hop also!
I think if more people were open minded about music we would be a better place!!
Myles Kennedy is the one person that I would put up there with Chris Cornell as far as pure talent and emotion in vocals.
John Prentice its insane what a bocal change can do huh.
Alter Bridge is on a different level to creed
Alter Bridge III is my fav album so far - all songs are phenomenal. Buy it - you won't regret it!
Voted "best solo of all time" a few years back. This song just screams "epic masterpiece". If this was a song from the 70s it would most definitely be considered a classic, on par with let's say Stairway to Heaven.
Kontrol Bug Agree!!!,
No doubt
The Myles/Mark solo in this song is, without a doubt, my absolute #1 favorite rock solo, by any performer, of ALL time. And I've heard a lot of music in my ripe old age. 😂
voted in one magazine. its blasphemy to compare it to timeless classics. it is a good song, but nothing like those man...
Once again if you want vocals Ronnie James Dio, Holy Diver
You dudes FELT that shit. So glad to see that. This song is epic, and that singer is one of the best in rock today. Love that stank face when that chorus hits! Haha! You guys got another subscriber from this reaction.
They wrote blackbird when a close friend of the band died, would love to hear more alter bridge try cry of achillies plz!
Yeah. Chris' death still hurts. I would love to see the fellas react to his voice!
mishukk78 I second Say Hello...
Totally agree, I'd love to see their reaction to Chris' voice. Dude is the GOAT imo.
I bought the Temple of a Dog album recently on vinyl and I'm so happy I did. It is Chris Cornell at his best.
THEM BONES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this band! Haven't heard a Them Bones song in quite a while.
Them bones buddy !!!!!!!🤘
It's 2021 and this is gold. Alter Bridge is a gem deserving appreciation...
I am so happy you guys did this song. Todd, thank you for being so persistent
Rainbow - Stargazer
Y’all do it right. Every damn time.
Alter Bridge is our Led Zeppelin and Van Halen.
This song is a masterpiece. Class act, excellent musicians. Alter Bridge is fantastic
Love this song. For a follow up Alterbridge song, I recommend Cry of Achilles (whenever you swing back around to them).
Yes! That would be a perfect song! Also I'd say Metalingus.
Alter Bridge - Cradle to The Grave, The Last Hero, Cry of Achilles, Fortress,
Slash's Snakepit - Beggars & Hangers On, Neither Can I, Serial Killer, Ain't Life Grand,
Pantera - Cementery Gates, Cowboys From Hell, Mouth For War, Revolution Is My Name.
SlashArmyPL vote 2 Cry Of Achilles
Cradle to the Grave and the Last Hero are amazing songs.
I also vote for Cry of Achilles
Myles wrote this song about his first guitar teacher who dies at a young age
Yeah ! I knew that you guys would've loved this one. Myles Kennedy is one of the few ear pleasing vocalists with incredible raw power. You guys are awesome !
I asked them a long time ago... Alter bridge is awesome!
They need to listen to Cry of Achilles by Alter Bridge next
I watch this video every week, my favorite song from my favorite band, I love it when people just appreciate the music and emotion
Black by Pearl Jam! You guys will love the baritone voice of Eddie Vedder
Oh the joy of discovering Myles Kennedy - one of the few artists who sounds better live! Amazing talent.
Hands down the most underrated band out there at the moment
Metalingus
Open Your Eyes
Watch Over You
There's tons from them that are great songs on a lot of levels.
TheAxManCometh Watch Over You is my favorite song of Alter Bridge to me gives me Goosebumps
There were some good ones from their newest album, too. Show Me A Leader, My Champion, and The Last Hero were very good.
all 3 of em are really good
In Loving Memory is a masterpiece
yes it is
More Alter Bridge please, been watching this vid everyday!!!
This band is seriously underrated
Sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
Zack McTigue can confirm. Saw them live in Atlanta. Amazing.
Ok, I have now watched this reaction video at least 20 times now....I have always loved this song (I want this played at my funeral), but I cant get enough of your reactions...this is a masterpiece!!
you guys should definitely listen to in loving memory by alter bridge, it's such a beautiful song, mark tremonti wrote it about his mother's passing, you guys will absolutely appreciate it
upppppp
Silverback95 Grandmother....very sad song.
The solo on this song (which is actually two "solos" intertwined and played by singer Myles and guitarist Mark, was voted the greatest guitar solo of all time years ago by Guitar One magazine.
Amen to that!
Sitting here so sick and seeing that you uploaded made me feel so much better! I love you guys! 😆 I'm not gonna say what I think you should react to next cause you already know lol ....pst soundgarden 😉
Your day will come Andrea! Lol
There’s a good reason why Slash decided to work with Myles Kennedy. Outstanding vocalist. One of the best in rock right now and for my generation.
Keep it up guys, you're both modern day heroes. mine.
Alejandro Nostas I agree 100% man one of my favorite bands quality through and through
Alter bridge is the best of all time. Love seeing other people realize there greatness.
Tyler Oney
Next

Slip to the Void
Farther than the Sun
Just a few off the top of my head.
Great video as always guys, you need to check out Cemetary Gates from Pantera
I haven't even finished your video and I'm thinking, "Just wait 'til you guys hear the guitar solo" Damn! Classic.
If you want another Alter Bridge song to review, do "Find The Real." That last note Miles hits is SICK.
Seamus Burke absolutely correct, good sir
Facts! That was amazing.
Yes! Find The Real hooked me from the first note. And a burned copy of One Day Remains stayed in my car CD player for over three months after. Listening to it now! 👍
Best channel I subscribed to in 2017! Do Pantera "Cemetary Gates" has a similar feel like this one, musically their best performance IMO.
Pretty much the last Pantera song that Phil actually sang on too.
Pantera "Floods"
This song will not disappoint.
Everybody needs to be introduced to the almighty dimebag, but I feel like they'd love floods
The Sleep has some impressive soloing
Porcupine Tree - Trains! They have one of the best drummers in rock by the way, Gavin Harrison.
Saw Gavin play twice last year with King Crimson's amazing North America tour. A machine and part of an incredible ensemble playing some classic prog.
MR Huggins Excellenct suggestion, one of my favorites.
