Thanks so much for this. I saw them several times in the early 80's in and around Bristol - wonderful memories! I owe my love of jazz to this band.
From Tcha Limberger, being Vivi's sun, of-course this is very valuable to me!A good recording, as yet unknown to me, of the heroes of my child hood. What a joy to wake up with this incredible find! _my dad is in very very good shape, as all of them are! Smiling all over my face. And a very good recording it is too! Acoustically, as I love it!!!! thanks very much for uploading, Tcha,
My pleasure Tcha, this tape has sat in my drawer for 38 years, I thought it would be good to share it before all of us are too old to listen any more! Actually I was pleasantly surprised it comes up so well audio wise, considering it is a second generation tape (I gave the master away but kept this copy). Glad you enjoy it! Best regards Tony
@@tonyrees948well it’s 2023 and I’m playing this to my 90 yr old Mum with my late Dad LOVED WASO, saw them in and around Northampton numerous times I believe in the ‘80s - does that work? - anyway she’s very pleased to hear WASO now. I believe I saw them at least once. All the best
Tony, this is wonderful thanks for putting it up. Always liked Waso, and it's so good hear...
Awesome 👏🏻 I’ve always been a fan of Waso
The Piotto family .... I've always loved them!
Saw this band in the late 70s early 80s when they toured with Sammy. Met up with them a few times over the years . Great sound, great swing
So nice to hear this!
You are very welcome. It is a nice sounding "live feel" recording (completely acoustic, no mics)... If you or your associates would like the higher quality version (original wav file) to do anything with, let me know... tonyrees49 [at] gmail.com
@@tonyrees948 I would love that... The applause in between the songs are very loud - it would be a better experience if I mix them to be more quietly.
I posted this on my facebook page and linked my dad Koen, Fapy, Vivi and Michel... and send the tape to Tcha who is - as expected - very pleased with this.
Oh... My father Koen is coming over tonight and I will play it for him. I think he will be happy to hear this too.

Yes, I saw them in London area several times early 80s - including this gig, Half Moon Putney (?), Pizza Express, Battersea Town Hall... at the latter one Fapy was indisposed and Koen took over the lead guitar duties, very impressively! Their live LP "Live in Laren" is similar in feel to this recording.
Love that Cavalerie track: 1:05:45
Hello Tony, thanks for posting. On songs 14, 15 and 16 it's not Koen singing, it's Vivi.
Thanks vonder, I have added that to the the description in the track list - hope it's correct now.
@@tonyrees948 Yes, perfect! Thanks for the record!
