      Make sure you're following up. Call the office and some of the people in the contacts list. Also, maths are a huge thing in this trade. Brush up on algebra and fractions. It's a huge part. Other than that have the drive to learn and work. Or work and learn. I think they both go hand in hand

      @@williamcruz7976 Thanks boss, I'm applying July 17 and have always been good at math and had the willingness to learn new things. Even if I don't get in itl be good for me to have my name in the system for if/when I have to reapply.

    Just wanted to say thank you for your videos! Because of them, I was able to make the choice to switch careers from a general manager at a gym to an electrician. Just did my drug test and will have boot camp in 2 weeks. ❤ So excited and grateful for this opportunity, and thankful for your channel! Helped so much with the interview and aptitude test!!!!

    • @js9143
      @js9143 9 месяцев назад

      @@irmahernandez3290 sure my recommendation is that if you don’t not have prior experience I suggest signing the books at the hall. Work as a cw while your application is being reviewed. Study for the test, there’s a bunch of resources online. And when your interview comes up make sure you have a portfolio of work that you have done in the past, with some letters of recommendation of Forman from Ibew go along way. Don’t be shy to ask for letters a lot of guys out here want to help you get in !

    Do you know what school or program would be best for someone in NC? I'm having difficulty figuring out where to start. I've been applying for electrician helper and apprentice with a cover letter/resume. But I have no experience and don't want to start taking classes if I'm not sure they're relevant to the actual need of becoming an electrician due to cost/time etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! and thank you for the videos.

    What I'm not understanding is how can you have a poor apprentice? They had to jump through alot of hoops and beat other people to become an apprentice. Then they're gonna treat it like a common run of the mill job?
