I keep dying because when I use Legacy of the Lucii, the antenna will break and I will get hit by the shield as soon as the attack ends. It looks like you aren't breaking the antenna most of the time, and when you do, the shield doesn't hit you. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Just in case it helps someone else, you need to dodge out of the shield rather than warp. Does anyone know why you sometimes don't phase its berserk charge?
Berserk happens because the antenna is destroyed. It enter berserk after the shield phase which happen soon after the antenna breaks. When it's in the berserk state, your magic will do more dmg. He doesn't destroy the antenna because with armiger unleashed, the strategy is to break all 4 of it's legs.I think he destroyed the antenna because AU ultimate is an aoe attack.
Sorry I'm kind of inactive these days so replies are slow. As said before, "roll dodging warp" out of the shield works while "warp strike warp" does not. Why? I have no idea. As for breaking the antenna, legacy will eventually do this but takes a few casts to fully do so. Just make sure that legacy is the ONLY reason you're damaging the antenna unless you want to cause berserk (which is useful for recharging armiger)
Also, while in Armiger Unleashed standing still and phasing the missiles can randomly fail, running in a circle while phasing seems reliable. Sorry to write so much, I have had trouble finding info so I want to write this somewhere in case it helps anyone else trying level 1 no items etc.
i tried fighting him for the first time yesterday got him halfway before i gave up and walked away i need to get more ap points and level up my ascension tree a bit more for some important stuff like food buffs lasting longer.
Sorry for late reply. missed the comment notif. you have to block stuff. when armiger unleashed blocks or dodges an attack, it gains a little bit of its meter back. Notice how, after Omega goes berserk the first time, I actually purposely run INTO omega while blocking? This is to refill my armiger meter and make it last longer. Check it out around 1:20, for example, and watch my armiger meter in the bottom left closely as Omega tries to hit me.
@@far_257 also if u play ffxv with lvl 1u can eat a food that gives u damage boost against higher level would work with lvl 15 too per level 2% would mean u make 200% more damage

@@tubii-fushii1173 use the save and reload method for Angelus. There is a bonus chance for your first drop after a reload to be an Angelus

But yes, ascension is almost more important than raw levels. Also, mastery of Armiger Unleashed is important in this fight
