Good job on the big brown and the nice rainbows. I think I know the guy you’re talking about he’s legendary. I have watched him for a couple years now catch big huge Browns on his Baits I wish I could get some more nothing I buy works as good. thank you for the great information. I learn a lot from your videos.
@@Hunter-pd1vy I try not to as it goes bad really quick. You could use crawlers or something like that too. Shrimp will work and I do still bring it from time to time but it's not a pleasant smell when it gets warm :-)
@@susieedgmon3419 Smaller then a salmon hook but that’s the idea. I’ve messed around with a few different hook sizes and types and it kinda depends on the size of fish you’re targeting. I’ll try to look up the size I use most of the time and get back to you.
@@matthewparker6284 ya. That’s a good place to start. The river will keep going down this month and fishing will be good until the leaves hit the river

Thanks for sharing. Have you seen ol number seven yet? 👍👍
Not yet this year. I've looked for him for sure though!
Where can I get some of those scented soft beads?
I think you can get something similar at most tackle shops. I think sent and some buoyancy are the main things to look for. Appreciate you watching!
@@OLDHATOUTDOORS do you not fish with shrimp as much in the summer?

@oldhatoutdoors yes, I’ve got them at Cabela’s I think they’re from BnR tackle company. Do you just put them on a salmon egg hook?
