Beautiful visuals used. Beautifully done! I am amazed at all the obvious thought and effort you clearly put into every single video. Congratulations!
The only thing missing so far in this video is the post office smell. They have a certain scent profile. And they have the same brown hexagonal tiles in the main hall, and the same whitish-grayish tile or linoleum or whatever in the actual counter section.
I’m almost 30 and I can faintly remember a time like this….but it’s just getting worse and worse 😅. I love ASMR but if someone did this IRL the people in like would be slamming things around & rioting 😂
Worked at a printing company years ago and I love paper sounds and packing, stamping etc. thank you so much for this. I had that measured mentally before you cut it. Can’t imagine how much those supplies cost nowadays. Your amazing

The slow movements add to the awesome tingles, of course, which I love. But man, if I had to endure this kind of slowness at at a real post office, I'd lose my mind! 😆 Having said that, I sometimes wish we'd slow down a bit as a society. Life is such a whirlwind anymore.

This reminds me of my neighbor who had an antique shop. In the back she had a wrapping station with all kinds of paper and tissue and ribbons and seeing her beautiful wrappings made me realize my favorite part of gift giving (especially Christmas) is wrapping it ❤
I LOVE to watch someone wrapping something when they don’t know I’m watching. When they’re in their own little world, that’s when the tingle are the strongest.

I may be the dumbest person alive, but for the almost decade I've been watching asmr, I thought "tingles" we're just a word used to describe the relaxation. But at around 5:50, i think i actually experienced those physical tingles in my head for the first time?? Dont ask me why it didnt occur to me that tingles were a physical feeling, but I am HOOKED and I'm going to spend the rest of my 20s chasing that feeling. I will NEVER leave this channel. This is where they hid the gold😂
Oh my!! Not dumb at all!! But you have been newly awakened to the magic of ASMR. I’m so happy for you. 🥳 I used to get tingles as a kid whenever I could hear my teacher softly talking to another student nearby. I didn’t have to be able to understand, there was just something about the gentleness of it that sent me over the edge. No name for it back then, and I certainly had no idea it happened to anybody else. Fair warning though, if you chase the feeling and find a couple of videos that work really well for you, you will eventually develop what’s called tingle immunity with those particular videos. And then you’ll need to find something different to try. I probably had my longest period of straight up ASMR tingles while watching Maria’s videos on GentleWhispering. Anytime I developed immunity, I could always watch different videos of hers, and sometimes even come back to my favorites and squeeze a few more tingles out of those. 🥰🥰
Honestly same. I've made playlists for specific types of asmr (whispering, no whispering, etc) for whatever kind of tingles I crave at the time. This one is in roleplays. I feel like an addict, but there's no negative consequences to this addiction.
Thank you for the soft spoken aspect. Other ASMR channels have this obsession with whispering as opposed to just speaking softly and at a gentle pace. When the other channels force a whisper, it's more distracting and downright irritating at times. Thank you again!!

at my old house there was a small post office a few blocks away. Like it was a ma and PA type. I loved going there to drop off mail, it was somewhat quick and quiet and VERY ASMR-y like this video. very much miss that post office (it ended up shutting down and the restaurant next door bought that space up to expand into)
90s? That's interesting. I was going for 60s--but you're probably not far off. Some things were still a bit analog in the early 90s. I certainly didn't have a cell phone, let alone a small personal computer in my pocket. We also didn't have email yet. 😂😂😂

Love this but would have been 80% better if it wasn’t SO slow!! Part of what makes ASMR so great in real life is they move like normal while making the same movements and sounds!
I mean it does say "VERY slow" in the title so what did you really expect? There are other channels who have roleplayed this exact same thing, so why not go there except for complaining?

I’m working on it. I’m almost finished with my first video with CC (Flamingo Motel). It takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours to set it up. But I’m going to post a poll to see which videos folks would like to have CC on first. So be on the lookout for that.
As a former window clerk, I would have been given a letter of warning on the spot for taking this long to mail a package for a customer. In the 45 minutes, I would have about 20 customers, and maybe 4 of them doing this same chore.

I gather lots of things from the time frame of my childhood. News papers and junk mail. Anytime I see stuff from that era at thrift stores I get it. I believe it's a way of restoring your child like eye sight in the world and protecting the child you were before the nasty world got to you. I have recently heard a saying and it stuck with me. " The person you are today is the person you needed in your life as a child "

I get that she is purposely moving slow to capture the sounds and making a gentle vibe. But, you almost have to laugh because she accidentally captures the realisticness of how slow Post office workers actually move.

😂😂😂 No kidding! The only time I’ve not completely lost my patience while in a slow line somewhere is if I don’t have anywhere else I have to get to quickly and the clerk is doing things slowly enough that I can adjust my brain antennae to pick up the ASMR vibe in the wild.

Love this but would have been 80% better if it wasn’t SO slow!! Part of what makes ASMR so great in real life is they move like normal while making the same movements and sounds!
I mean it does say "VERY slow" in the title so what did you really expect? There are other channels who have roleplayed this exact same thing, so why not go there except for complaining?

I’m working on it. I’m almost finished with my first video with CC (Flamingo Motel). It takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours to set it up.
But I’m going to post a poll to see which videos folks would like to have CC on first. So be on the lookout for that.
As a former window clerk, I would have been given a letter of warning on the spot for taking this long to mail a package for a customer. In the 45 minutes, I would have about 20 customers, and maybe 4 of them doing this same chore.

(Having only discovered your channel recently, I definitely have not seen all of your videos yet.) The style of ASMR with quite natural sounds just perhaps somewhat exaggerated, is my favourite, whether done like this or "layered sounds", so yours are overall just the ticket, thank you. 🙂

Well, close. 😂😂nI used to collect all Victorian antiques, then went through my midlife crisis about 20 years ago, sold all that, and started collecting MCM furniture and housewares because it reminded me so much of my childhood.
I gather lots of things from the time frame of my childhood. News papers and junk mail. Anytime I see stuff from that era at thrift stores I get it. I believe it's a way of restoring your child like eye sight in the world and protecting the child you were before the nasty world got to you. I have recently heard a saying and it stuck with me. " The person you are today is the person you needed in your life as a child "

I get that she is purposely moving slow to capture the sounds and making a gentle vibe. But, you almost have to laugh because she accidentally captures the realisticness of how slow Post office workers actually move.

Customer service is slow!😅 I think I would have threw my hands in the air and said it’s s alright. Never mind. I’ll ship it somewhere else. Imagine if they had employees like this at Amazon! Sheeesh
😂😂😂 No kidding! The only time I’ve not completely lost my patience while in a slow line somewhere is if I don’t have anywhere else I have to get to quickly and the clerk is doing things slowly enough that I can adjust my brain antennae to pick up the ASMR vibe in the wild.
Transactions at the Post Office take this long even today with computers. Only difference is the clerk usually isn’t as friendly.
