Hank's sly little smile all throughout is brilliant, he can see the charade clear as day while the others fall for it. Gus's answer for everything gives him away, ironically. Hank knows who he's dealing with, and Gus knows who he's dealing with. A brilliant example of subtext.

honestly, it is very convenient they met a week before died.
