The reason you have not seen 140W is because that will only happen during 100% load on a device like a MacBook. With normal usage, you will just never reach 140W since battery preservation has a higher priority then charging faster.

That makes a lot of sense. Never had that on my M1 MBP either but I've got no complaints, a charger that survives more than a quarter with me is a massive win ;)

Can you take this in a carry-on for the airport /airplane? I thought 100w was the max or am I wrong?

You’re correct just in a wrong way ;) The capacity limit for carry on per battery (most airlines allow 2 batteries) is 100Wh / 27000mAh because lithium batteries in these are 3.7v (3.7*27=100). The 140W is max power output when charging devices. Hope this helps 🤘🏻

Thanks Jake. So this is OK, and I would be able to take a second battery on the plane as well?

Yeah this is fine to fly with, it’s 3k mAh below the limit actually. Defo check with the airline re second battery though, I’ve never had an issue between Qatar, Turkish Airlines, Ryanair, Royal Air Marco, Air France and a few others.

HI Jake - my unit seems to lose it's charge when unplugged because the side power button only needs to be slightly touched to activate and its power just drains away. . I'm treating it like a bad child and putting it in its box now, so the side button can't be accidently turned on. Is this your experience? Also, I had a query, when you go to Auto Screen ON/OFF screen, you can toggle between ON and OFF. Is it OFF or ON when the word is illuminated in white, or, when it's black. I'm assuming that the function is activated when the word is illuminated. Hope this makes sense.

Needed a few days to get my bank back! The Auto Screen is ON when ON is on the white background - this basically shuts off the screen after few seconds. I haven't notice any bleed or battery life deterioration and it's still getting used and abused so defo check this setting :)

Try a Xiaomi phone with 120 watt fast charging

Sounds good, I'm actually looking for a secondary phone just now and I'd like an Android, even for testing our websites across other devices!
