Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that FREAKS me OUT!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
I'm so sorry I just saw this! If you haven't had the surgery yet, I will say that being put to sleep was the easiest part. They put a nerve block in my leg and gave me the anesthesia, then I don't remember much from there! The IV was quick and simple and didn't hurt. I don't remember falling asleep or even being rolled into the surgery room, and then a few hours later I woke up. It was hard to wake up and took me about an hour to come to fully, and then even after that the rest of the day was fuzzy. I would say don't fight it, it will just happen and won't be painful at all! Good luck xx
xcalabur18 I had four surgeries on my knee last year. I’m warmly recommending you to checkout on my channel how I healed my tibial plateau fracture and torn meniscus after three failed surgeries! The power of fruits 🍉 🍇🍓🍈is incredible!! sending you lots of love 💕 💚🍀 🍉🍇🍓🍌🍈🍒
Aw feel you!❤️ I’m 13 and i love playing soccer. 2 months ago, i dislocated my patella. And about 3 weeks ago, me and my friends tryed something similar to that in ninja warrior, like it turns and you’ll have to jump over and lay down. But yeah. My right leg got caught and i fell and i landed wrong and i heard a loud pop. I was in extreme pain, the rest of that night, and i couldn’t walk normal. But i tore my LCL and my meniscus. But my doctor refuses to do surgery before i’m older. I’m in pain every day, i’ll have to take pain killers, sleep with pillows under my knee every night and use icepacks. And i’m only 13?! I’m just looking forward to that surgery!🤞
Annika Niclasen please give me more information about an ACL surgery. I need to get one and I’m in Ghana. Instagram (Kemikal_01) Email (bachorjonah7@gmail.com)
Hello! I’m 13 also. I realize this comment was two years ago, but it still makes me feel better knowing I’m not the only one. I was riding my dirt bike and racing my riding buddy, when I wrecked going about 40mph. I hit the ground and couldn’t get back up. I’m in a similar situation except I’m allowed surgery due to the severity of the tear. Stay strong! Glad to know we’re all in the same boat.
Hunny you think you torn your ACL in weird way well I may of torn mine, just by standing up from a chair. Dunno what chairs and sofas have with me cause I’ve also broken my foot when younger, just by falling of the sofa. Sitting furniture don’t like me.
I am getting the acl reconstruction arthroscopy thanks so much for this video it help me a lot

Thank you so much! With my schedule right now it is just kind of tough, but I'll definitely be making more this coming semester:)
I tore my acl on july 23rd 2019 and I have surgery this month
Ok literally on June 26 of this year I tore mine and I get surgery December 20th
That is crazy! I hope your surgery and recovery go well and that you're back to normal soon!
How long did you stay in the hospital
It was outpatient surgery so in total I was only there for about 6 hours.
