i did not think i would like Primal going into it, but goddamn it turned out to be one of the absolute best animated shows i've ever seen. can't recommend it enough.
Man primal is the most amazing animated series I've ever watched... No language, nothing.. Just pure primal. Something that connects us all to our origin.

I started watching primal with my 1 and a half year old. Not many shows or movies hold his attention from too long but we watched 2 episodes every night before bed. We just finished it and damn. It slaps.
I really wish that we could see Spear and Mira's daughter and Fang's two grown offsprings for survival after Spear and Fang's story telling in Primal season 3, and especially Lord Darlington and Charles Darwin once again like how did the whole world have turned into the Primal World which is the Primordial World, and especially Spear's spirit will face and fight that Horned Fiery Demon as the anthology.

I love this show and in my mind it's near perfect. My only big critique is that the second half of season 2's plot felt janky and while I'm okay with the finale's content it felt rushed to me. Like in the last 5 minutes the show put itself on fast forward to get to the very end as quickly as possible. For a show that takes it's time to show and not tell, it kinda bothered me for a while. I was also slightly disappointed that the big devil guy was underutilized. It's still an extremely high 10 out of 10 for me. The character development, action, sound design, animation! All were working at the highest quality imaginable. Absolutely amazing!
The Flintstones is nothing to this... The Land Before Time is nothing like this... The Good Dinosaur is nothing like this... They're nothing compared to PRIMAL!!!
Does Genndy talk about the Robert E. Howard (Conan author) ties much in those interviews? Found out a while ago that 'Fang and Spear' is the title of one of Robert's earliest publications. Pretty cool homage if it is

Red Mist was a crazy episode too. The way spear and fang cleared the village was crazy especially how the director set the whole scene up 🤌🏽
