Al, I'm sure you know that there's always a learning curve when switching from an old faithful welder to a new one. I bought my Eastwood MIG 175 back in 2015 or so and LOVE it now but, it took me a month or so (using it only on weekends) to really learn how to run it. My old welder was a Century 125 that finally gave up the ghost. I've heard a lot of good about the H-F Titanium stuff and not much bad. I was seriously considering buying a Titanium plasma cutter but, my wife bought me a Yes Welder unit for my birthday last month. I've never had one before so, I've been playing around with it for the last few weekends and I'm really liking it.
Hello Al, been a while . My neighbour had a v8 golden hawk. He would not sell it, watched it rot for years, I offered him money the day I moved. I still think about the car.
That's the same welder I bought 4 or 5 years ago when they 1st came out. Very happy with it, and have really pushed it hard. Only thing I've done to it was upgrade the gauge set. Good little machine, I hope they are still as good as they where before HF sold out and went public (like Holley did).
The work on the Lark looks sweet. You are doing a really great job on her.
Glad you have a welding machine again. Thank you for all the updates.
Cool video learned alot!
It is getting there!
Those are solid little machines

Magnets could help hold your work in place
