@@AspyreN7 I hear that ME1 is getting most of the rework for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. No ME3 MP (LE) at all, no ME3 ending fixes, just some updated graphics/cover/right hand advantage mechanics in ME1 and 2. No Fixing the Termi-Reaper in ME2. No Harbinger Boss fight in ME3. No fixing the plot hole of Doom that was Vigil can read indoctrination in ME1, as well as give us code that can override the Relays and the Citadel arms to expose Starbrat. No fixing the Starbrat.
I didn't buy Mass Effect 2 until I finished my Master's thesis, but after the first draft was submitted I waited until my security guard shifts were finished for the week and dove in. While I loved the story and characters and combat, part of me also loved the resource collection. This music, the sound of the scanner, and the cool early spring breeze and night noises coming through the window. After the academic stress of the last few months, it was the peaceful feeling I needed.
I really enjoyed the planet scanning, as well. We're a rare breed as I've seen so many complain about it on different ME2 videos I've watched over the years.
I am too old to fly to stars, but because of this song I am reminded of my childhood dream to fly to the stars. Thank you Bioware team and music creator Sam Hulick.

I played mass effect so much times, and is impossible for me to forget it. All the 3 games are amazing and it improves chapter after chapter. I love it 😍
The Mass Effect 3 “Leaving Earth” song has become very common & popular in mainstream Western culture Someone, someday, will play it as they leave Earth.
Loved mass effect 2. Its crazy how i would fall asleep playing something i loved. Its not at all like that now a days. I was 16 had my first job and pre-ordered the game and bought evey dlc.
Gabry oo3 the Normandy is the king of all sci fi space ships. It’s the best of Star Trek and Star Wars....but oddly way more believable. I seriously fucking love this game series.
I don't know if I could go that far. I mean, in what regard? Firepower? Resiliency? I mean, of course we have the Enterprise or Sovereign class ships from Star Trek as well as the Defiant. What about Romulan Warbirds? Battlestars Galactica and Pegasus. List goes on.
@@shayminthedoctor9663 SR1 didn't have any restrooms or beds, except for the Captain's quarters. No recreational areas either. For that reason I'd prefer serving on the SR2.
I went to replay the ME trilogy last month, since I enjoy experimenting new builds. Right before I was going to search Noveria, I randomly found the Horsehead Nebula, and it blew me away that in ME2 you couldn't go there because the Illusive Man's base was set up there by then. Something about that worldbuilding really strikes a chord in these games, you feel like you're a small part of the galaxy, yet somehow everything revolves around what you do.. it's brilliant! Can't wait for the remaster.
I think that also might be because in ME2 Shepard was restricted to the Terminus Systems because of their association with Cerberus. And Horsehead Nebula is in the Earth Systems Alliance Space. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if his base location was planned ahead.
Anomaly detected. I love this version the mixture of the galaxy theme with the illusive man's theme, symbolizing working for cerberus. Best trilogy imo
This should be the galaxy map song for Mass Effect 4. It would be interesting to see a similar uncharted worlds theme in the next game just kind of remixed.
Playing through legendary edition right now. Encountered that bug in ME2 where you would leave the galaxy map and the song would still be playing, then when you re-enter the galaxy map the sane tune would play over itself and you would have this really cool melody playing. Not sure if that was deliberate by the team or not

I used to live in this Universe - part of me always will.
Same mate! Those were good times!
Playing it the story with friends and having discussion bout the ilu man
At least we will get to revisit for a brief while with the new visuals but like all good things it will have to end at some point

Same. Those were the best days.
All I hear is EDI's voice "Launching probe", "Probe Launched"
"Probing Uranus"
It would only be "aweigh" if you were taking a probe onto your ship (e.g. anchors aweigh). You're launching one, so it's just "away."
"I have found something"

Imagine a legit Mass Effect movie trilogy. With superb casting and detailing story!
The best feeling in life, when you first time playing Mass Effect 2 and open star map
For me it was playing the original Mass Effect.
@ryantowell BOTH Galaxy maps are incredible!
It pains me to listen to this and see what EA and Bioware have become. I just hope we can return to this one day.
Welcome back. Legendary Edition has guaranteed that the series will continue. ME4 might be at the EA show next month. Here's hoping!
I'm afraid of what they will do with Mass Effect "4" in that regard.
This makes my soul leave my body and wander the universe. The body feels left behind, sad at the sight of death.
After the failures of this world. I'm going back under the Command of Sheppard. Time to save the galaxy.. Again
