This was so encouraging for me to hear especially about God bringing two souls together from opposite sides of the world. I got engaged to a wonderful godly man who lives in on the other side of the world and sometimes it feels crazy thinking that God did such a thing for us.

I love this and yall! Thank you for what you both do to minister to others!! I want to interject something that God is in charge of redemption, the Holy Spirit will do the transformation. It’s not our job as a spouse! 🫣 It took me along time to realize this. I met my husband when we’re teens and it’s been a long sanctifying road but God is good and faithful. We’ve been married almost 14 years with 5 kids! God is good, He heals and he provides!
I wanted to ask, do you get to choose your spouse or does God? Like is there a specific person destined for us that have to wait for? Or do we get to pick who we want to be with while using wisdom to assess if they bear the fruits of the spirit? I'm often paranoid that it's wrong for me to have feelings for someone in case they aren't the one God has planned for me. How does one navigate that?
I can only speak for myself but before getting married, the lord shared with me that I can do pick who I want according to his ways but I’ll have to deal with what it came with. But “I” have someone for you. Knowing that I didn’t have a track record of choosing the best person, I decided to wait on the lord. While doing everything PD and his wife shared. Eventually, the lord made a way where I met my wife through a mutual friend. And I can tell you, this one is the one he had for me. Def seek his guidance cause at time choosing someone independently of him can seem like a game of roulette
