My brain has been working overtime during The Boys season 2, and one of the things I have liked the most about this weekly episodic format is that is allows me to do some theory-crafting. Today's video is a theory video about a wild tin-foil theory I have been thinking about since episode one... What if Stormfront is actually Homelander's mother?

I was thinking this as well. Homelander (in the TV show) has been obsessed with breast milk and Stillwell was a mother figure for him. He was having sex with her too. So he seems primed for this incestuous relationship. It doesn't come out of nowhere.
I think Stormfront knows exactly who he is and is a freak enough to not care. I think she was a willing participant in birthing Homelander because she's a true believer in the Nazi way. She already said Homelander is everything man was mean to be. I think she helped create him in order to create a race of super nazis. Hell, she probably knows all about his son as well.

I really think this is gonna come true. Fanboy theories are getting better each and every year. This one seems spot on.
My theory: Stormfront’s powers adapt and evolve over time. During the Liberty scene, we see no evidence of flight or lightning powers. This may seem like an effort to keep the secret plot twist alive, except the reveal is made a few seconds later. If she had those powers as Liberty, then everyone would know that Stormfront is Liberty. No one is suspicious because Libertyfront hadn’t developed those powers yet.
Then it seems that from the very beginning, she was trying to seduce Homelander, who she finds rather pathetic. She attempts to seduce him 3 times before succeeding and when she does, she uses it as an opportunity to expose herself to his powers. The laser scene solidifies this. She encourages him to do it, knowing that he’ll start slow and encourages him to up the intensity. All the while adapting to this intensity. During the second laser blast she remarks “God that Hurts!” Only to demand that he continue long enough for her to fully adapt and then laughs giddily after accomplishing her mission. The sex afterwards was just icing on the cake. She’ll use this newly evolved resistance to Homelander’s powers to directly challenge him later in the season.

My theory is that:
1) She is a mimic and steals the abilities of others, (and probably kills/imprisons them afterwards) or
2) Her powers evolve through the consumption of compound v, so over time she has become more powerful. The plot of the show so far might lean towards this, and help with propelling Maeve/Starlight/TB to eliminating the other heroes, Vought and all traces of compound V.
DawnViper mimicry? That would make sense if she’s the one that killed the CIA agent by mimicking the telekinesis from the supe we see in the episode 6 trailer.

I’ve read the comics and nothing is really too out there for the boys so homelander being the clone or biological son of stormfront is very possible
I'm thinking more likely DNA clone, but with added compound V in vitro, hence why Homelander is stronger than her.

In the comics, Homelander is the son/clone of Stormfront. His mother is a nameless prostitute that was paid by Vought to get pregnant with Homelander. She died giving birth to Homelander. I think Homelander ripped/lasered his way out and also killed the doctors and nurses in the delivery room.

And on the physical Level I think they're pretty balanced

Storm front is extremely durable, and strong, but she was also knocked down pretty easily by the female in episode 3, homelander getting a train thrown on top of him only delayed him.
She's basically third most powerful in the snow behind homelander, and I'm assuming his son.

This aged freakishly well, Solider boy and Stormfront were a thing and Home Lander is Solider Boys son. And then Home Lander and Stormfront hooked up.
Another hint is that she disappeared 40 years before the start of the series, in 1979 to be exact. which might be about the same time she could have gotten pregnant with Homelander. I honestly think this sounds pretty plausible
One thing I think supports your idea is that while Homelander naturally assumes his eye beams will "cut her in half", Stormfront KNOWS with confident certainty that she is safe. How? Also, In the flashback I believe Liberty has blond hair like Homelander.
I think maybe an argument against would be that we've met Homelander's son and, he has the same powers as his father which suggest that they are inherited traits. It also suggests that a human without powers can carry a supe to term without dying.
We don't know if homelanders son is as powerful it's assumed because homlander is to narcissistic to possibly accept his son is less then him which is why he kept talking about his abilities as a kid.
I really dislike that tbey made it possible to carry a supe baby as a normie. That literally threw of the whe becka arc and is just poorly accepted by all, no question, in the show.

But like I said she dies in the comics because she is covering up the incident and Billy learns about it through diary entries. In the show she obviously confronts the company because they knew about it and hid her.
now that we know vought had soldier boy produce sperm in a cup to secretly produce homelander, maybe they did the same with stormfront. They harvested an egg from her, and inserted soldier boys sperm into it, so that by combining their 2 strongest supes dna, they can create the most powerful supe (homelander).

The whole thing kinda reminds me of the Greek Gods and how the interacted with Humans and each other, a LOT of fucked up things went on with the Gods, like killing and eating their offspring to maintain power. Yes finally someone who had the same thoughts I had after the latest episode. I brought this idea to mind with some friends I was watching the show with and the look of disgust on their faces, absolutely priceless.

I know some people aren’t digging this season as much as season 1 but I’m loving it. There are so many things going on in the background that are just waiting to be revealed I can’t wait for the next 3 episodes.
When I first saw the trailers for this season, I thought that Stormfront was going to be all super "progressive" and the way she actually is really subverted my expectations. I even knew about the character from the comics, so I thought that maybe the show makers were subverting our expectations of the character to be racist by making her the opposite, but really they just made her appear that way. Maybe I'm just reading way too much into that one small aspect, but I was shocked when Stormfront killed Keneko's brother, and I think that they did that on purpose.

Honestly, I had trouble figuring out if Madelyn was meant to be Homelander's mother figure or his love interest, so this theory isn't as bizzare as you think.
That would make the last scene with doppelganger to be more foreshadowing than a psychological breakthrough. He ultimately ended up doing exactly what he thought was pathetic....probably making him even more pathetic.
Homelander's existence is the biggest oxymoron ever. He is the strongest being in his universe but he's controlled by everything around him. His entire existence was planned by cold scientists and then controlled by faceless shareholders.

Absolutely yes!! This is a solid theory and would be very interesting to see play out. I also could see them making her plan to be to CREATE a “super race” from her own bloodline (hers & Homelander).
I’m guessing Stormfront has had many children in attempts to breed the most powerful one, that being Homelander. Who knows how many kids she has out in the world. I also believe compound V could be derived from her DNA, blood, etc etc
In the comics Homelander was not only injected with more compound V to get his super power. He is actually a kind of "clone" made from the stormfront DNA. This is the reason he is far stronger and different from the others.
According to the source material Stormfront's genetic code was used to create Homelander and Black Noire.

I think people frequently forget that intersectional feminism is a relatively new concept (if I'm not mistaken, the term was first coined in 1989 or somewhere around there). I like this theory since it sounds completely possible, but I was always thinking that the reason Homelander and Stormfront hooked up was because she wants to give birth to a very powerful supe so she can take over Vought and probably the world.
It would make sense, especially with the Oedipus complex that Homelander experiences in the tv series.
