I've been totally content with Betaflight Rescue for a while now and happy ctzsnooze is back at it with Alt hold. Seeing that iNav is pos-holding without mag, now we must convince ctz that mag won't be required for it. ;-)
I'm also looking for posHold feature, just to aggressively brake the quad instead of disarming. i like your positioning of the gps receiver next to the gopro. this is much better than putting it just below the vtx antenna.
I'm so glad that BF is starting to add navigation features, because INAV is in some ways so far behind betaflight, partly because I think it has become a vanity project. I'm going to test out the BF alt-hold!
Does installing optical flow and rangefinder sensors improve the smoothness of takeoffs and landings on a drone? Specifically, can these sensors enhance stability during these phases even if advanced flight modes like Position Hold and Altitude Hold are not enabled?
Hi, this is so nice content. I'm just step into Fpv hobby, and I own a 5-inch fpv quad. I have used beta flight as my stack and I really need to know how to implement alt hold using beta flight. can you help me on that?
Hello....I am waiting for the moment when Inav or Bf will be able to provide emergency break button like in DJI. Saved me multiple times of my old potato. With Bf return to home can be activated during basic dive , but when you lose control quad will crash.Who will first implement propa handbrake like dji? It is a cool button, full speed and break;) Anyway, I can see Google's V2 on the clip and how you recorded OSD?
like having INAV on my 7in build, but it flew so much better on BF 4.3/.4 I just cat tune out the jitters in 7.1 I may need to flash this to see how well it really flew and if I can get pos hold in BF. when its ready
Nope. Set "inav_use_gps_no_baro = ON" in the CLI. Of course, that is one less sensor for altitude, so the Alt Hold part of the Pos Hold may not be as good, but see how it goes. GPS Alt and variation are pretty sensitive nowadays. Of course HDOP will need to be decent - which is always the case - so look for that to be less than 1.5 for any type of decent olding.

Fantastic! Thanks for all the info, Mark! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Nice video! Finally this update and we'll explication. Great Mark!
I see INAV, I click :) Thanks!

Great stuff!! Thanks.

Can you please share which components youre using. How is it so efficient? Is it really pulling only 2 amps total? Or is that for each motor?
FINALY !!!
POSHOLD just after ?

Inav mode 😊
Interesting!
Music is a bit too loud IMO.
A fair bit more than a bit if you ask me. I find it very distracting...

Does the crux 35 fc support Inav? How about a baby ape 2?

What should I need to add lidar sensor in whoop go with inav or betaflight make position hold in gps mode
Please make video for PID TUNE for cinewhoop bee35 on inav (for cinematic)
Just in the process of setting up gps RTL. For altitude hold to work will i need a barometer?

I couldnt get inav to change my irc tramp vtx power setting so I went back to BF
As a BetaFlight user i probley won't even use POS Hold or Alt. Hold.😊
Its just too slow 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Years and years to accept that magnetometer was wast of time
Try flying in Ukraine. Electronic warfare is working. My hobby is in really bad shape. My quadcopters are behaving terribly.
How do tinywhoops perform?
Nice
I haven't got betaflight to position hold yet
