Great finds Corey! And don't woory about calling JT's varieties "flavors," I've been doing it for years! It sounded like somebody wanted some attention toward the end of the video and wouldn't take "NO!" for an answer! Thanks for posting!
First off, good catch! Second, great haul!! Everybody needs a N&W passenger set. We're gonna have to get a couple of those auto carriers, they are so nice. - Ryan
Great haul my King. I grew up with the#1, in fact I grew up with all the subways being born in the Bronx and living most of my life in the city. If you want to sell the Railking double ,bring it to Edison and put it on my table. Ok see ya soon---ALL HAIL.
Very nice, Corey. York was a great show, this Fall. I like the subway cars, for sure. Every time I hear Van Cortlandt, I think of Cyrus in The Warriors saying 'We have the Moonrunners, right by the Van Cortlandt Rangers. Nobody is wasting nobody'. A great line in one of my favorite movies. That was a nice catch on that car falling through the bag. It was great meeting you at the show. I hung around with the 3Rails/4Dads crew for a while and got to meet quite a few of the other RUclipsrs. I had to pass on some cars that I wanted, as I had already reached my budget. The were AMT passenger cars and guy didn't show them until Saturday and I had to walk before I spent a couple of hundred over my budget. It was tough, as I collect AMT cars. Either way, you got a fine haul at the show. An excellent video, as always.
@@johnandrus3901 Thanks, I love The Warriors. One of my favorite movies! It was great meeting you too. I also had to pass on a few things because I had reached my budget. There’s always next time.
@ Yeah. My budget was predicated on finding AMT passenger cars and K-Line O81 curves. Had this seller put them out day 1, I would have had 5 more, making my AMT collection 50 cars. It is what it is, I guess. Looking forward to your next video, for sure.
You had yourself a real productive York I see :D I was there all three days, I might've seen you...or vice-versa (I had on a navy blue hoodie with a big Amtrak logo across the front) "Where were you...when the _l i i i i ghts went out..."_ 🤣 I came away with Train Loft's Santa Fe bluebonnet SD35, a NS coke hopper (my 16th). and three Weaver boxcars. Ordered another bluebonnet SD35 the following Monday (second of two road numbers). Funny part was I wasn't actually _looking_ for any motive power, but those bluebonnets looked _really_ good in-person. Might be a nice addition to get one of those motorized Lazy Susan turntables so you can present a 360-degree closeup view of new purchases, keeping them behind the room's light source so they don't wind up in the shadows.
@@RailRide we probably did see each other. I was in the orange hall when the lights went out. I had just made the deal on those passenger cars. Sounds like you got some great stuff.
Corey...Railking is coming out with a Cancer Awareness Modern tank car through EZ-Catch Trains on Staten Island. #30-73644 and 45. It was in a MTH Announcement email. A real beauty...give them a call. I also am a fan of flat cars being a die cast collector. And the passenger cars are definitely high class looking with a touch of elegance. Nice score ! Thank You 👍
@@jamesmelchin2873 I preordered the caboose with Ez Catch and the gondolas I have are from there also. I’ll look into the tank cars. I’m glad you like the flat cars and I am looking forward to running those passenger cars when I get the engine.
