Your reviews are second to none, Ben. I can't believe I only learned about this channel a few days ago. You're so knowledgeable, correct, sensitive and thorough that I really think you put to shame (almost) all other reviewers out there. Well done, this channel is priceless.

Very charming guitar. My first acoustic, a great generalist with a wicked-boxy low end and crisp high notes. Perfect size for travel. This particular finish is alway an eye catcher.

Godin guitars (Seagull, Art and Lutherie, Norman, Simon and Patrick, La Patrie) like this own the lower price point in the guitar market. They just make the best quality and sounding instruments at this price point. Guess it is because they have their own supply of great wood growing in their backyard and a long history of efficient mass production techniques. Any guitar at this price point from any manufacturer will benefit from a setup.

I have owned a Godin Multiac Classical for over 20 years. I am more impressed with the Art & Lutherie line of Godin's than I am with the Seagull line. My only suggestion: instead of using white paint for the headstock decal...use gold leaf.

The most complete review available. Balanced and fair. Not too techie and not too subjective. Perhaps don't state non critical, subjective observations as if they are are critical without an explanation. What may be a concern for you may not be a concern for someone else or is something that can be adjusted on a guitar. You not like midrange, but the next perhaps want more midrange, etc.

Bought one today. I can't believe I got a guitar that sounds this amazing for $395USD. Sounds as nice as my 2011 Taylor 414CE Fall Limited.

@@TheHexeract Well that's just patently false. This guitar sounds great, but once you plug it in, the difference is VERY noticeable.

I love this guitar, but it did benefit greatly from a good setup to adjust string height. Sounds and plays way better than the price point would suggest. A true bargain for a great guitar.

@Rosti H no, not for me at least. I've had high action guitar before that one, and this is an enjoyable instrument and also looks very nice in my opinion

I saw this exact guitar but it said Simon & Patrick on the headstock. Is it literally the same guitar?

Someone probably already mentioned it, but the website lists the top as Solid Cedar. Confused.

"It has a great sound ... but the guitar has a dryness of tone... What does "dryness of tone" mean? Is dryness or is it great? I havnt heard that in any of your other reviews that I watched.

How easy is it t change the battery? It’s inside the hole?

I have the CW QIT and the battery is in the hole, so you have to to loosen your strings.
