    tried the high output on the M12, don't really see a "huge" difference other than it doesn't overheat as easily. It still kinda sucks as it eats through the battery.

      @@Tools-Tested I really don’t know what the deal is. I am starting to think these type of tools are just not great for constant cutting. I was cutting a bunch of 20 g steel for about 5-10 minutes and this thing starts to act on me with the blinking. It happens every time you are down to 2 bars and it activates the overheat protection. I am going to sell it. No point in having it in my tool box.

    Doesn’t the batteries play a huge part of performance especially with how the cells are setup in the batteries and especially with the speeds? Correct me if im wrong wouldn’t the others do better with the same battery as the dewalt? Im just speculating

    • @Tools-Tested
      @Tools-Tested  Год назад

      Yeah it can, really depends on the tool. I tested the M12 with the new 5.0 HO and the performance didn't change similar to the bosch.
      Im hoping to get the highest performance battery in each brand going forward, but it's hard to keep up lol. Dewalt just released the power stack in a 5AH version and ridgid with the 8 and 12ah.
      More than likely I need to invest in a variable DC power supply in which I can keep the voltage drop to a minimum, maximizing the performance of just the tool, but thats more $$$$ that I currently don't have.
