His verse on power by rhapsody His verse on wats wrong by isaiah rashad His first verse on sing about me His second verse on FEEL His control verse There's too many lol!
His work is still marinating. People still absorbing and breaking it down, layers upon layers, and some people are just NOW realizing, and playing catch up.
The blacker the Berry is not only one of my favourite songs ever, but it is also amongst the most intense. Been in close vicinity of him given off that energy must’ve been visceral for anyone who was there
This is why I absolutely love him and his craft, he takes nothing for granted and his dedication for the craft is on another level. Without a doubt one of the greatest living artists of our generation. I know I’m a nobody but I’d love to just sit down and have a conversation with him, and I’m positive I’ll leave the conversation self reflecting on a lot of things to better my own endeavors be it in work or art. Can’t wait for his next project to come out.

You don't normally hear such a wide variety of artists giving one guy this level of praise an admiration. Damn the album sales and streaming numbers, this is a testament to not only a great artist, but one that's categorically DIFFERENT from his peers
6:28 Kendrick absolutely murdered Mask Off. “Now they don’t even know how to rate ‘em, n-ggas looking like I’m a created player,” is one of my favorite bars he’s spat to date. KDOT is a G.O.A.T. And I can’t wait to hear what he does next.
Kendrick is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Kendrick🔥
That's dope Fam. There's nothing wrong with being Underground. Look at the success Tech9ne has had, I'm firm Houston and we have Artists who never really blew up but their catalogues are undeniable. K-rino, Z-Ro, Slim Thug, Trae, and Lil Keke. E-40 may be considered mainstream now but he was independent since '92, Deniro Farrar from Charlotte North Carolina is not on the radio like JCole or Da Baby but he's one of the greatest Underground artists in the game. Check out his catalogue. Keep grinding but stay true to yourself Fam.
I would have loved to have been in the studio for the recording of Never Catch Me. It's one of my favorite Kendrick verses. I really wish that him and FlyLo did a follow up EP together. That track has such a unique energy.
Kendrick Lamar is one of a few outstanding rap artist with true sincere lyrical credibility, a voice for the voiceless and more than just a rap artist in my book.
with the time he takes he reminds me of Andre3000 he don't rap until he says he has something to say. I remember when he killed throw some Ds and walk it out around the same time and rapped first and still had the best verse. Kendrick is like that too.
“Eyelashes are like umbrellas when it rains from the heart, And a tissue is like an angel kissing you in the dark” One of my favorite verses ever. Kendrick’s as well
Kendrick said watching 2pac live drove him to wanting to be a rapper. If u inspired by the goat u have to rise to be 1 . That's exactly what kendrick has done. Legendary!
After good kid maad city I knew Kendrick was one of the greatest and based on his potential I said I thought he might be better than Em and my friends thought I was crazy
@X the students always surpass the masters. Like I said my opinion was based on his potential at the time. Em is the most masterful 🐐 lyricist today just knocking out rapid fire double and triple entendres with insane flow switches and syllable manipulation and it blows my mind every time but it’s been a while since his music has actually taken me somewhere the way Kendricks does. And I don’t love everything Kendrick has put out or everything that Em has put out but I am a massive fan of each one.
@X Em and many other greats already graced him his crown. His the best. Em has a great rhyme scheme, but his aggression stands out. Kendrick has lyrics, Bars, rhyme scheme, storytelling, breakdown schemes and very prolific. Kendrick mastered the art of hiphop. But people think not putting Em as the number 1 hurts his credibility as a great Mc. But it’s not that, we know he’s a great, but Not the greatest.

I honestly believe that a Kendrick verse is worth more than a Drake verse. It holds more weight. Also believe a Kendrick verse could easily be priced at 1 million. This is just me though. And I’m ready for all the smoke with them sweatshop fanboys
Well shit if he takes his time perfecting his albums then I'll gladly buy all of his albums and support him this way. Never listened to him but i've been watching his videos, some of his interviews and performances. I guess I'm a fan of Kendrick now🤣🤣
J.Cole is the best at killing features and J.Cole is basically untouchable at this point in terms of his track record of features. Andre 3000 is probably my second favorite feature then Kendrick as third.
