For Clarity (to answer some common questions): 1. I do not make a living from this project. That would be nice at some point in the future so that I can be more focussed, but I’ve been working on Model Strangers since the summer of 2023 with human curiosity as my main motivation. 2. Every encounter you watch on my channel is unplanned and spontaneous. The rule is that I do not know the person or couple, and have never spoken to them before either online or offline 3. For every ten people I stop, eight will say yes to my approach. I’ve never had a truly bad reaction, and most people are happy to engage with me I do not take for granted the encouragement and support I receive from people who leave positive comments or send me messages. Thank you to everyone. - Chris linktr.ee/modelstrangers
The best way, to do it, out of curiosity, love of what you do, spontaneous, and of yourself The "making a living" is the energy exchange between you and these people - "paying in kind" 🩵🇬🇧
Thank you creating this channel. The world can sometimes seem dark through the lens of media, but your warm and generous interactions with real people remind us there is always hope - the human spirit shines through.
@modelstrangers Chris, your videos truly brighten my days. Thank you for gifting others with your warmth and kindness - your goodness shines through in the way you approach and interact with everyone. You are greatly appreciated and I am grateful for the joy that you bring to me and to others. What you're doing is much needed in the world and truly inspiring!
My wife and I have an agreement that apparently works……I told her I GET TO MAKE ALL THE BIG DECISIONS and she gets to make all the small decisions; However, She gets to decide what is a BIG decision and what is a SMALL decision 😮
Hahaha😂😂😂😂😂, just love it. If you love somebody it will never go away, but the other person should be a loving person too. I can’t love somebody who is hurtful, selfish, and just plain awful human being.😂
You know it’s genuine because their body language is spot on and they are eager to talk about each other and their relationship. They seem excited about each other and proud. ❤ they way she leaned into his shoulder and laughed made my heart sing.
They are the richest couple in the world. Love like that is worth more than money, possessions or anything else on this earth. I am very envious and absolutely delighted for them all at the same time.
These two are so happy and still in love. I’ve been with my husband since I was 14 I’ve just had my 60th birthday and we married when I was 21. My wonderful husband makes me laugh and sings to me too and he never fails to make me feel beautiful and loved. I adore him with all my heart and I couldn’t think of my life without him in it.
What a great couple, their happiness is infectious. Good on ‘em. Raise a glass to Hazel and Jim. As god made them, he matched them as my Irish friend would say. ❤
My husband and I also met in 1956, when I was fourteen. Needless to say, we didn’t get married immediately, but it’s also been 62 years for us! I always say i love a man who makes me laugh, and he does to this day! Bless this couple. May they enjoy many more happy years together.
They remind me of my parents. It does get harder as they get older. My parents are nearing their 70th anniversary and my Dad is now my Mom's caregiver. But the love is still there.
Aww this brought a tear to my eyes. My husband and i have been together for 56 years, married 52 and he makes me laugh all the time. We love each other more each day❤
😊✨🩵 thank you for stopping these two and sharing You bring out the natural in people , as you are authentic Chris 💜 You will find your Special person 🩵
One of the great things about this interaction is the acknowledgement of our senior population. So often I hear them say they feel invisible or looked down upon by younger generations (and perhaps all this silly behavior is confined to the U.S.). But our seniors are a treasure and full of life and stories and love. I'm glad you stopped them and they certainly seemed to enjoy the conversation. Blessings to all. Have you hugged a senior today?
Indeed ageism is rampant. Decades ago, when I wasn’t one of them, I loved to visit with old folks to learn about their experiences from long before I was born. There’s a wealth of experience and wisdom there to be found.
You’ve allowed us to share a moment with so many interesting people that we would otherwise miss. I’d like to thank you Chris and the many who kindly agreed to stop and chat.
My sweet husband and I had a wonderful 51 year’s it would be 53, l got cancer, my husband got terminal cancer 😢. My darling and my little Yorkiepoo live in my soul. We had a relationship as this wonderful couple.
A true couple in every way. The photos of both together are beautiful but the individual shots you’ve taken with them looking at each other? So much love in their eyes, their whole expression….it radiates out from the picture - what an inspired choice of shot. Thank you!
Love this video! My wife and I have been married for 52 years…up’s and down’s of life aside, we enjoy each other’s company. I served in the US Navy back in the 70’s, and accept for combat my wife followed wherever she could. May the Love of our Creator bless this owls world, and may His Second Coming be soon…
What a lovely couple. I have always believed that you can't choose who you fall in love with and seeing these two I think proves it . She got the wingman and not the main man. And she LOVE'S him. Good luck to them both.
I believe that "once you have love everything will be ok" words to live by indeed. This couple proves that laughter is truly medicinal. Sir i hope you find the love of your life too😊
My wife is absolutely the love of my life! She is the sweetest most forgiving and patient lady I’ve ever known. 20+ years together and I still don’t understand how I’m good enough for her. And she has the most beautiful singing voice. I make her breakfast, lunch and dinner every day because I am still in love with her. In fact more than ever!
You make my day(s) with your beautiful short films, it is so real, spontaneous and positive. Thank you for sharing this great content in a world which is full of turmoil ❤
I don’t know what made me happier - the fact that my granny and grandad where from Belfast and they reminded me of what they would have had before grandad passed. Maybe it’s the love and truth the couple shared. ❤ True love overcomes most hurdles together.
I LOVE them!! My husband makes me laugh every day. He also sings to me often, usually putting my name in a love song. He even wrote me a beautiful love song! Almost 23 years and still hanging in there. Everything they said is 100% true.
I’m a 68 year old Hazel, and I really hope that I am like her. I also tend to laugh a lot. My 74 year old husband and I are married 20 years, both our second marriages. He makes me laugh all day ❤️
Awwww.... 🥰 How absolutely sweet and wholesome!! They are rich beyond riches! Thank you for interviewing this fun and loving couple! Reminded me of my mom and dad who have since passed but had 62 beautiful years together! 💕💕 #Truelove
I have found the love of my life, and we were together (dating and marriage) for 31 and a half years. I wish that we could have grown old together but he passed away last year. In two days it will be one year. He was 55 and I am 49. We were unseparable and I don't know how to live without him 💔 I am so happy for this couple and I wish them many more years of happily ever! 🌺🍀
You will find the way to live on and will hold to you the knowledge that you have had a love that others only long for. Grief is a process of 1,000 days. Hang in there. It will get better over time. Never great - but better. I promise. Prayers from me for you.
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. But just remember, you gave him nearly 32 years happiness, and he to you too- not many people can say that these days. We've been together for only 12 years but can't imagine life without each other. True soulmates, you'll be together again one day because that real love really is forever ❤
A breath of fresh air. Couples like these are a rare breed nowadays. They are not only in love and happy, but also strong to have survived it all. The best part is they wish the same for others.
Such a lovely story and a great couple, I lost my girlfriend to anorexia 12 years ago and when she said I hope you find the love of your life it was upsetting for me as I had mine and now she's gone and I'm 54 and I've been single ever since Clare passed away and I don't enjoy being alone but I'm so afraid to try and find love again... Stupid really but it has taken this much time to heal my heart that I could not stand to have it broken again.
How amazingly wonderful. Oh that every couple should feel that way no matter how long they've been together. Thank you Chris for bringing us these lovely inspirational videos. Please continue to do so and I wish you every success in your endeavours. 👍👍👌👌😁😁🤞🤞🍀🍀
My husband and I are married 31 years and I’m so blessed that God put us together. I really love being married to him! ❤. My parents were married almost 62 years. My mom is 92 and still sharp as tack lol.
I’ve always loved seeing older couples walking hand in hand. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. ❤❤❤❤❤ beautiful couple and I pray they have many more happy years to share.
What a lovely couple true love right there - great sense of humour made my day! I’ve found the love of my life too he drives me nuts at times but I wouldn’t swap him for the world 40 years and hopefully many more to go.
This was an incredible video! I'm a cranky old man and this brought joyful tears to my eyes. What a fantastic couple. Wishing them many more years of love and good humor. PS - They know the secret to a great marriage!

America appreciates and loves this couple. ❤😊
No way would I have ever guessed this man is 83 years old. They look and walk better then many 50 year olds here in the US.

Don't think I have ever seen a better video on RUclips. I am 71 and have been a widower since 2/2020.
Love watching the Mature people of the world talking positive. I miss my mum and dad.

Why can't we have more videos like this? This couple and the man doing the interview made this Sat. a great day for me.
She's right - a man that can make you laugh every day, and who is willing to work at the relationship to make it last is a keeper!
The adorableness hit max when Hazel said, "I'm a cougar." What a lovely couple
I don't know why, but the summary pictures of Hazel and Jim made me cry. They're so lovely.

That brought tears to my eyes. My parents were married for over fifty years through thick and thin. I miss them very much.
Beautiful couple. Reminds me of me and my husband. We still laugh every day. Thirty six years and still madly in love.
You could never make a "best" video because each one is beautiful and unique, like a snowflake! 🥰
