To have someone seem to want to listen. It sounds a bit selfish, but trust me young people, some day you’ll be old and a bit lonely too. You could see the catharsis on her face of just being able to talk about her life for a few minutes. She reminded me of myself.

This should not break your heart. This should make you smile and believe that there are still some amazing people out there with incredible stories. She has lived her best life and is continuing to do so at 84. We can all aspire for something similar. Loss happens. Grief happens. It's part of the deal. She still looks like a million bucks and is out there doing what she enjoys.

My mom passed away 9 years ago at age 82. My dad is still living at age 91 and he’s doing great but misses my mom daily 😢 and so do I !
