@@DuraBurbinc I’ll keep my eyes out. I have 2 lly trucks and a few 6.5L. It’s easy to find a lower mileage lbz then a clean 05 yukon2500 up here in the northeast. But I hope it will happen one day
I say it everyday. I have a tdi a7 diesel full bolt ons etc deleted. Its a monster and great on fuel. Its hard for me to go back to a gas for a daily. Im in the hunt for a burb now to do this swap
I discovered you when you first started your conversions. My 96 GMC Sub 2500 w/ 6.5TD has been covered and not ran since Aug. 05. I bought Jim Bigelow's book on how-to conversion to the current 07 LBZ which I wanted to do but never have. Would you guy's be willing to do so with the LBZ? Which in my world is the best even though it did have some injector issues.
It's great to see them come back around Got the idea for this segment from seeing the owner of Buyer Beware Should have shot his 2001 it's sweet and still running great just over 500K MI
Yes, DOS and DOD got us through the hard times of covid and before starting in 2012 Got to build a lot of cool Suburbans. We continue to see them in the news when there is a segment from the white house in the background Alas GM latched on and now mass produces the 2024 forward 6.6 3500 Suburban armored B6 with manufacturer 5yr / 50k mi warranty No 3rd party needed and it is available to all US Gov agencies and..................All NATO allies which killed us😢 All good though public is way less pressure LOL
Yeah, a low mile 3500 with an L5P is north of 125K But when you consider a 1500 Suburban with a 3L is 80K and a Escalade ESV is north of 130K the pricing and cost of development is all comparable Just not in everyons financial fortitude I can't afford one and we build them LOL 😂
@@DuraBurbincif I supplied own suv 1500 chassis, and wanted 125-190k mile duramax swap whats a price range for that? I know I can snag a cheap 4x4 xl or yukon lolol
Keep up the awesome work you do. I've had the pleasure of meeting you several times.
its a fun job
I wish I could afford one of your builds
If it makes you feel better, I do too LOL
@@DuraBurbinc ever since I saw the 2007 you did for my friend jack I’ve wanted to build a 2005 2500 suburban
Hunt down a decent mi LBZ and away you go
Those don't require programing

Diesel, the only way to go. Once you have driven a diesel, you won’t go back. Very, very nice. 👍👍👍

I have a 2011 Chevy avalanche I was just wondering what’s the average price
they run around 30-35K thats our SS Series 1500, they are fun efficient and fast, the classic have your cake and eat it too LOL
0:11 "left the private sector come to the public segment"
You guys are building vehicles for the government?

Awesome vehicles! 🇺🇸
Would you guys be able to do a swap on an older Yukon? Say, 2006 2500XL SLT?
thats on case by case give us a call
Sooo nice!!❤
I didn’t know you could swap this new of a year model.
Yep up to Global A 2020 L5P
We have a video of the L5P from back in 2020 on our youtube channel
Did a few for Sweden Ministry of Defense
Wish it had the hood from the l5p.
God Bless
2001 chevy tahoe, rough price to build??
They stopped Duramax Swapping anything older than 2003 a while ago
@@omarzowila Might even be nothing older than 2007 nowadays.
yea we technically stop at 07 but have made exceptions for the 03-06 a few times, they are just to old to drop 30K into
Just very well done.. would buy one , not income appropriate at this time....
yea I live vicariously through others LOL
Are you still building new ones
No, we stop at 2020 Global A L5P
Global B is out of reach due to GM programming credentials
So if I have an 18 and would like To Dmax swap it, are you still doing that?
How much would this cost if i gave u a tahoe for a swap?
depending on the year 07-14 are around 30-35K 15-20 are about 8K more mostly for the drivetrain
Is it available
?
Seems like the owner drives it daily from his garage to the end of the driveway and back to collect the mail.
What is the cost for one of these?
