My roommate (female) currently has a lot of her dishes and cookery etc sitting in the sink for almost 48 hours now. Me (male) wash up the moment I no longer need that item. Eg: If I'm done with the cutting board its washed and in the dish rack drying before my meal is even made. Before I eat I'll have the kitchen as if I was never there. And once I've eaten the stuff used to eat get washed as promptly. No matter how shit a day/week I've had. Of course when she finally gets around to her shit she'll complain I've left clean/dry stuff on the rack even though her shit was dirty in the sink before the things I got on the rack was even used by me let alone cleaned/put there. Go figure.
