You're being way too hard on yourself. Nobody can know everything. There's a first time for every new thing we learn, and I, for one, hope that on the day I die I'm still saying "Wow, I never knew that before".

Some of these orchestrated by Repighi in his La Boutique Fantasque, which should be repurposed
as a perfect Christmas ballet. Others by Britten in his Matinees Musicales and Soirees Musicales.
Irresistibly gorgeous music in any arrangement!

This combination, Rossini + Liszt = an enormous explotion of beauty and genious! I can’t get enough of it! And as a rossini addicted tenor hearing these songs from solo piano, ‘sung’ this well, awakes in me an immense respect and joy to listen to all of Liszt’s works! Love Rossini, Liszt and this channel! It is truely FANTASTIC! Love it!!!

These are some of the greatest song transcriptions for solo piano I ever heard. I compared them to the originals piece by piece and is astounding what Liszt does with them. It's as if he was writing an orchestral version for the songs, just without the orchestra.

Non capisco perché l'inizio del tema a singole note è più veloce che la parte a doppie note, fai tutto allo stesso tempo dio ....a parte il finale che puoi accelerare dio ..
