If they truly believe that, and live it out, there can be no peaceful coexistence with other faiths, such as Christianity. Who is this Wilkerson fellow? As a Jewish Believer or as we used to call ourselves (over 40 yrs ago) Messianic Jews. My view of the end times is summed up in the Book of Romans chapters 9-11. When the "fullness of the Gentiles" (the wild branches) are grafted back into the olive tree (Israel - believing Jews), then the world will experience a "resurrection" or life from the dead. Then the Lord will create a New heaven and New earth and the Son will hand the kingdoms on earth to the Father so that God may be all-in-all.

Christians during the seventies and eighties DID NOT drop out and wait for the rapture. That was a divisive construct for the purpose of shaming those who embrace a pre-tribulation rapture by post-tribbers, amillennialists and prederists. These were the Kingdom Now, Dominionists who believed that Christians are going to make the world better and better until Jesus looks down from heaven and says okay, I'll set up my kingdom now. (Of course I have to ask them, how is that working for you now?) But this is almost impossible to disprove. All I can tell you is that I'm old enough to have been there, these two good men were not. Using this as a tactic to get you to believe their doctrine is the same thing they're doing today by saying that the word rapture is not in the Bible or by spreading the non truth that John Darby invented the rapture. You get to thinking that you're just a little more spiritual then these pre-trib wimps that just want to escape. There's nowhere in the Bible that God says he will take us through the tribulation but in Revelation 3rd chapter it says we can escape it. Have these people even read the book of Revelation. Almost nobody survives it. And also makes it clear that when we know that the return of Christ is near it causes us to press in not to fall out. I was part of the Jesus revolution in the 70s. The Jews and Christians are both right and that is what will happen. Who is this Wilkerson fellow? As a Jewish Believer or as we used to call ourselves (over 40 yrs ago) Messianic Jews. My view of the end times is summed up in the Book of Romans chapters 9-11. When the "fullness of the Gentiles" (the wild branches) are grafted back into the olive tree (Israel - believing Jews), then the world will experience a "resurrection" or life from the dead. Then the Lord will create a New heaven and New earth and the Son will hand the kingdoms on earth to the Father so that God may be all-in-all.

Christians during the seventies and eighties DID NOT drop out and wait for the rapture. That was a divisive construct for the purpose of shaming those who embrace a pre-tribulation rapture by post-tribbers, amillennialists and prederists. These were the Kingdom Now, Dominionists who believed that Christians are going to make the world better and better until Jesus looks down from heaven and says okay, I'll set up my kingdom now. (Of course I have to ask them, how is that working for you now?)
But this is almost impossible to disprove. All I can tell you is that I'm old enough to have been there, these two good men were not.
Using this as a tactic to get you to believe their doctrine is the same thing they're doing today by saying that the word rapture is not in the Bible or by spreading the non truth that John Darby invented the rapture. It's simply not true and people are too lazy to do the research.

There's nowhere in the Bible that God says he will take us through the tribulation but in Revelation 3rd chapter it says we can escape it. Have these people even read the book of Revelation. Almost nobody survives it. And also makes it clear that when we know that the return of Christ is near it causes us to press in not to fall out.

I've heard it explained that Muslims are taught that Jesus did not die on the cross, that Allah made everyone believe that he died (I don't know the reason they give for why this was supposedly done). I was reading or watching something about Islam and they said it was started by a Catholic woman who was in love with Mohammed, he was her house keeper and she took his writings and wrote the Karan with that. I don't know, but I would like to know if that's true or not.
Roman Catholics weren’t a thing back then. I did hear that, in the Quran there are hymns to Jesus taken from a Christian Syriac source. That is to say a Christian hymn book written in Syriac was compared to parts of the Quran and there is a clear borrowing of literature. PRE-Millenialism is taking Revelation at face value, the default position for the believer. The Millenium is a Promise, and a Reward, and God doesn't welch on those.
