doesn't matter in a jeep compass. You cant hear your own engine revving in a diesel jeep compass due to almost soundproof glass, leave aside horns of other vehicles or traffic noise.
We bought a Jeep compass Limited diesel model in April. While driving suddenly the car Ac stopped cooling, the steering became hard, the windows stopped working and finally the car turned off. Its hardly a month old vehicle. They sent a local type RSA on scooter which was unexpected, the vehicle was towed to the service centre. Worst part of jeep is you wont get any prompt response from service centre. You have to keep calling them. Finally they claim that they have change the dinamo but they havent shown any replacement parts, but the vehicle is running fine as of now. Hooe things go this way. Its hard to deal with Jeep service centre. You have to keep on mailing calling to get your work done.
Was facing the same issue in 2019 JC. I got a solution also…when we open the door panel there are white locks which holds the door panel to the body….they are of very cheap quality and they vibrate. I gave them support and pasted them with a glue gun and rattle sound reduced to like 80%. Also got the damping sheet on the doors.
I have a 2019 jeep compass.. No such rattling issues thankfully... Other than the known ABS sensor issues for that year's batch of cars... The sensors were replaced, free of charge, as and when they failed. The new sensors are the updated design. But yes.. There are some use of cheap plastics here and there.
I have drivven Jeep compass diesel. Even the engine noise is not heard inside and no vibrations are felt, the car if not faulty is very silent and almost 0 NVH, the NVH is as good as a well-refined naturally aspirated petrol engine. must be something wrong with this vehicle which is unacceptable for a vehicle of such high cost.

I am thinking to buy it over xuv700 because of better nvh and I thought Jeep don't have rattles, but many user saying that it have rattles specialy new compass 2020 model,
I’m also facing the same issues. An additional noise is when the ORVMs open up after ignition they make a squeaky sound. AC is also very mediocre. There is definitely some manufacturing issue. But seeing Mr Jeet plight I’m quite scared to send my car for service .

I am facing the same issue with my jeep compass 2022 Limited edition...... but let me tell you what I did to fix this issue ...... buy WD 40 specialist silicon lubricant and spray on the door rubbers and on sunroof rubber..... that rattling noise is gone...... but cheap plastic middle part is the one which is giving me issues..... unfortunately there is no solution to this....

you can look for scratch marks between the doors and door sils, at times the door allignment is off and when metal rub against each other, such sounds are produced. its just a suggestion as one of my friends car's had the similar noise, but once the doors got alingned, and the alingment is very slight. you can try this. All the best.
Go to Ford workshop, if you can convince them to set door hinges & catcher setting. In our compass, jeep was unable to fix, but a service guy from Ford fixed it! (He did some adjustment with hammer on striker plate).
I have a 2023 model S, and i assure you I have the same noises coming from door panels. I have been to KHT mahadevpura in Bangalore few times but they couldn’t fix and randomly says some root cause. Even they said Jeep cars do have rattling issues which took me by surprise. Its absolutely annoying to have paid 40lakhs for a car and then see these issues.
Hi, I owns the the jeep compass 2017 Limited diesel. I have face the same issue after get the second service. Than I ask to service advisor to fix it. They spray up WD40 in all side door rubber and grease up latch’s n insulated latch nob with pvc tape. They say’s the latch lock nob is made up of metal not fitted to the nob lock. It’s the only solution of this. He told me that grease they using is very expensive around 16,000rs. Well I also drive the jeep s diesel automatic and moment I notice it’s noisy. The engine noise coming to the cabin. Than I ask to my jeep service advisor. He’s said it’s because of BS6 and the automatic engine run in half clutch that’s why is noisy. I found so may Jeep compass S and tails hawk model is resell car market.

Its sound from the glue of insulation. It turns plasticky after a while and makes this noise while operation. I had similar issue in my car and was fixed by changing glue for insulation.
I have similar issue in limited model Even after one year multiple visits yet not resolved. Dash board open multiple time but Now they are saying this is operational noise

Hi Everyone, Rattling sound could be one odd case. I own Jeep Compass and it’s a fantastic SUV. I have not faced any issue till now and my Jeep belongs to same batch which was discussed in the video. We just stated facing it today it’s S model 4x4 2021. And after testing everything we found the noise is coming when we turn on seat ventilation. Now we are not sure why such a annoying fan noise will come (started all of a sudden) by turning seat ventilation On! Any idea?

First check the door rubber seal for dryness and rubbing Mark's. And lubricate the rubber door seal with vaseline gel or good quality silicon based tyre dresser (tyre dresser will last longer than vaseline) first you can try with vaseline to rectify the problem.

i also hear this sounds but it is heard only if we park vehicle in hot sun..after 15 min drive it automatically goes.....due to rubber seal only i guess..

@@slaverb2 exactly. Music play karte time bhi pura door ke andar ka panel shake karta hai beat pe. Merko kehte bass kam rakho sir 2-3 pe. To bhyi lagaya hi kyun hai jab car doors handle hi nahi kar sakte music system ki vibrations ko. 10 saal purani gadi ki tarah squeak karti hai.

This is the only reason I literally hate service centre whether it is two wheeler or four wheeler. Ek din bhi service centre jaoo toh pura din kharab.
