Your fork became softer, because you lost air in the fork aftee that jump. Just pump it back. Remove right side bottom nut shape cover and there is air valve. Tons of videos on RUclips how to do it.
I'd actually prefer you keep it stock. So many RUclipsrs turn their builds into "bEsT TaLaRiA/SuRrOn mOdS UnDeR $150!" video chum and it's hard to find people who put the stock build through its paces. But that's just my opinion. Great video keep up the good work!
im pushing stock. off road i needed better grips, stock vibrate my hands off. bar is needed as off road it hurts your arms after 2 hours day after day the stock angle is too straight. rear brake pad is a nice have to do trail braking and drag the rear easier. that's all that's needed. New rear spring lighter would be great it too stiff for my weight.
Really no reason to keep it stock though, its not perfect out of factory and you can use mods to make it accomodate you better and battery for, riding the bike more, controller to make throttle more for your taste
Thanks man, I have an MX3 and an MX4, both mostly stock for now but probably gonna pull the trigger on the Torp controller for the Sting R soon. Glad to know it's holding up well through all the "abuse" lol, mine are babied compared to that jump where you bottomed the fork out haha.
Nice 👍 yea I’ve been seeing Luna cycle has the mx3 with newer and updated controller and factory forks for $3400 , I was wondering if that’s worth it or if i should just get the sting r mx4 ?
@@F1ow3rzzk that’s a steal of a deal (coming from an XXX & MX4 owner). Hell of a deal. If you have the money I would still say get the MX4 but tbh i’m wondering myself if it’s even worth the extra $$$ when you can spend it on upgrades.
Well worth it and I got the mx3 right before the mx4 came out lol you got a wee more power than i do.. my Favorite tires so far for stock wheels are Kenda millville 70/100/19 but only for off road they will not last on road.. I think you could use the gritshift heavy hitter skid plate. I got one and Recommend if you like the look if not there are others that are better than stock.
Nice review. Good to see that it has held up to some aggressive riding! Pick up some Shinko 241s. Good on the road and you can still hit the trails, as well. Have a 2019 Surron that I'm selling, and waiting for my Sting R to show up!
1 year with the same pads is insane! I had to swap mine due to the brake squeak and I replace them every 2 months. Also the tires being bald is a huge no you should have swapped them out
@@mountaingoat8788 I ride 500-600 miles a month commuting for work and going for rides around town as its my only vehicle. once my tire got low from burnouts and I went into the dirt and washed out from it being bald that's when I got new tires
While it's awesome bike (I dont own it, but did lease it for a weekend from local shop), I wouldn't replace my 85/110 cc 2stroke for it.but then again, it's hard to compare fully prepped MX bike with electric one, so the company deserves all the credits they get.
At EbikeZilla , the cost of the MX-3 motor is more than the MX-4's. Why?...because the MX-3 motor can safely run 10,000 RPM where the MX4 can only do 8,000 rpm. RUclipsr Stingy Rogers discovered this fact. Oh...one more fact. Talaria recently released their 2nd generation controller for the 2025 Sting R. It's easily identified from the 1st generation Sting R controllers by the inscribed words reading STING R. The first generation Sting R controller inscribed on the face simply read TALARIA. The new 2025 Sting R controller has a 10% power gain over the 2023's R controller.
I don't understand why Talaria still doesn't have a way to deactivate the restriction without mechanical intervention? The restriction has to be reactivated after every restart (like Sor-Ron) so that there are no problems on public roads. For me, that's (unfortunately) the only but valid reason not to buy the bike.
@@nGAhGENVH0Ul It is on the same level of an item as an atv or dirtbike. Infact its power level is similar to a comparably priced dirtbikes. I know plenty of people who make less than 30k a year who buy new dirtbikes for way higher prices than this.
The fact the fork still works at all after that brutal landing is a testament to how durable it is.

What's the logic behind only the right side ?
I'd assume one fork is preload and one is dampening? @TomTom-gx1sm
Talaria’s forks are full of oil not air

I’m doing OEM + because pegs and handlebars are the bare minimum. I’ve done small upgrades like pads, warp9 stem, and etc and it helps.

the price you pay to upgrade surrons/talaria you may as well buy a cr 500 and have some change, personal opinion

lol yo holy shit that jump you bottomed out on was huge
waiting on mine, should be here next week. looking forward to keeping it stock until things need replacement. thanks for the review!
You know the most trusted sites to buy surrons or talarias? Lmk
Nice. I ordered my bike a few days ago and have been watching reviews as I patiently wait.
How much and how is it? Congrats

The Ron is a classic. Don't sell it, instead use it as an mtb.
Look up air shim, to stop battery rattle. Works really well
My son just bought one and its awesome

How much is the battery alone? The 8kwatt
Get the Shimano pads with the heat sink. They are way better. Better modulation with less effort.
I have so many miles on mine I ride it to work daily
Shinko 244 tires so niceeeee night and day difference

Bro are you in Central Oregon!?
How long does the battery last? Miles and time?
up grade it into my garage bro!
Great vid
I think you should put some money into your bike. not big upgrades but just like grips, brake pads, skid plate, and maybe a 16 inch rear wheel
also tighten your chain to about half an inch of play
How much do you weigh, and how many miles did you put on it in the year?
Doesn’t the bike come with 2 foam blocks to keep the battery pretty tight?
My Sting R came with two yep.
Can you charge the battery off the bike ?
yes lmaoo

can you send my hoodie it’s been over a year and have gotten nothing i would like a refund

The damned bike cost 6500 dollars here in Sweden. Talking about overprice lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
3000 in US
6k$ in CAD withouts taxes...
