Thanks, it worked and not only for the bluetooth, which was dead, but it registers the Magic Remote entirely, with all its functions, including the pointer which in my case was also missing. 👍👍👍

Worked like a charm. Got this message after turning the TV on with a replacement remote. Followed all the steps in the exact order. TV set up new remote and the notification was no more!

Thanks so much. Lg guides were different in English and in my Swedish, each suggesting holding different button. Only different for me is i don’t have a button on my tv. But still worked so thanks again!
First I found the disconnect generally happens when batteries are low. I reconnect with fresh batteries by pressing home and return together for 5 seconds until power button flashes red. Then I follow the on screen prompt.

Some times it may be required to remove tv plug from mains for a couple of seconds to delete previous pairing.
