Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Rope Launcher Gameplay (Grappling Hook) | WikiGameGuides

The rope launcher (or grappling hook) in Assassin's Creed Syndicate will dramatically change how you traverse London, compared to previous AC games. The rope launcher is a bit difficult to aim, and unfortunately you cannot use it while riding on the roof of a moving buggy, but bridging large gaps with your new grappling hook is an incredible feature.

Honestly I love either this or the hook blade to return if they ever do a classic assassins creed game as the hook blade was such a great way to extend parkour and the grapple hook in syndicate was great for saving time.

I loved the rope launcher but it made me kind of lazy after i finished syndicate i bought assassins creed black flag on ps4 i got into the habit trying to use the rope launcher even though i was playing black flag and it isnt one then getting annoyed having to climb up the old fashion way lol

Don't get me wrong because I'm a huuuuuge assassins creed fan but this game looks terrible! It looks so glitchy and how the hell does that grappling hook work? It's turning into batman. Next Jacob will have a sidekick called raven instead of robin or something 😂

How does the rope launcher work in real life
What I mean is that how can you do both vertical and horizontal climbs because if you launch it when you want to go horizontal there is a rope that goes behind you but that doesn't happen in vertical climbing

Can someone please tell me how Jacob makes zip lines with his rope launcher because whenever he shoots it what does he attach it to? It doesn't show him tying the rope to something, he just jumps off the roof and grabs the zip line, so wouldn't it fall?

Alex Tatu It could be your L1 button so make sure that works since if it doesn’t it could affect the gameplay and could be the reason.
