Thank you Tom, for £30 I'm putting one in my car, if I like it I'll get a second as a rear one. Thank you again for the time you put in to your videos and for sharing. Stay safe out there and be well👍
Thanks John, appreciate the comment. Yeah, these cameras are cheap enough and do the job, certainly good enough as an affordable option for safety in your car.
Thank you for the review. I have never used one before so researching one for my dog walks. Sick and tired of dogs off the lead attacking my dog. This looks good and affordable for what I need it for. Thanks again
i was looking for a body cam for walking around when traveling and i gotta say i m impressed with how steady it is for that price. Imma buy one. Thanks for the on bike footage.
Having been knocked off my bike today, this has made me give biking one last chance. It's getting so rough out there, most drivers are on the mobile phones.
Hope you're alright mate. I don't even get on my bike without my helmet cam on anymore. Nobody indicates, tailgating is standard and there just no standards anymore. It's rough out there. Stay safe mate.
Tom whats up! that's a cool helmet. I also bought that mini cam. I will use it on the beach or traveling and for you its good for traffic stops by cops. excellent choice. Anyway, use a small back pack for bikes and motor. when you clip it on the front of your chest there is a place to clip the mini cam in front of your chest while riding.
Hey, thanks for commenting and for the advice. Hope the camera serves you well. I've since bought a new helmet camera but these Boblov ones are perfect for documenting traffic stops or whatever (not that I've ever actually been stopped by the police...I ride too slowly!)
It'd work, but the footage wouldn't be amazing. It's not great in low light either. Depends what you use it for really. Just for recording a walk or work or something probably fine.
I don't think so - I haven't actually tried that though tbh. When you plug it in, the light on the side starts flashing and it goes into charging mode. Are you thinking of connecting it to a battery pack or something?

Hi Dave, yes these are perfect for what you intend to use them for. Hope your dog doesn't get attcked too often
I’ve just ordered one for this exact same reason. Thanks for the great review! x

No problem, these would be great for that purpose I think, with less shaking and knocking around.

Yes, and yet drivers blame cyclists and motorcyclists constantly despite all the problems they cause.

@@thomascharnock yes I don't blame you driving slow but drive defensive. Thanks again.
Can you use it with your iPhone? Watching a live video from distance? For example to keep an eye on your motorbike using the app?
No it's not a smart device, just a dumb video recorder. You need to press record to make it do anything.
Thanks for the review. Can I ask how long the battery will last?
The battery lasts a few hours at best, which is quite annoying. Say 90 mins max.
how does that dash cam behave if i attach it on my shirt with the clip? and if there's little lighting?
It'd work, but the footage wouldn't be amazing. It's not great in low light either. Depends what you use it for really. Just for recording a walk or work or something probably fine.
Hi Tom, Can you charge and use at the same time?

No use for live streaming@@thomascharnock
Not bad for the price,
I hope they're still working for you.
Hi Darren, I used them for a while as a last resort but ended up buying a proper helmet camera in the end!
What's it like for water resistance mate?
It's pretty good to be fair. I guess it depends on how heavy the ran is and how fast you're going but had no issues when I've used in wet weather.
@@thomascharnock thanks, just want it to be rain proof for static security. Looks like it fine.
Very helpful I'm after a cheap clip on motorbike camera, bobov sounds interesting, they have bigger cameras too have you looked at those?
Bikers should wear helmets.
It keeps the heart pumping, and fresh for donation.
totally agree!
First 2.5 minutes of this was about a motorbike helmet. 🤦♂️
I was building suspense 😂
