I use to do Canyon and backroad runs in my old 5th Gen Civic and S13. As you get older, it's not worth risking it on the canyons.... Brings back memories watching this while my friends and I would run canyons or backroads in 90s cars =P
My two favorite cars I’ve ever owned were my Mini’s. First one was my first car, 115 crank hp and a 5 speed. Second was about 160-170hp from a ported and cammed head and a lsd 6 speed with proper suspension, brakes and tires. That’s what got me into backroad driving. Fwd is the most fun imo for backroads. I had a 2010 mazdaspeed 3 as well because I didn’t like how slow the first mini was in the straights but I hated how much slower I had to take corners in the speed. Which is why I got another mini.
I've had my DC2 for 7 years, 11 if I count the first one since I re-shelled. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it haha, it just offers a driving experience that newer cars don't have
lol that go pro setup, whatever gets it done as long as you can still see. Sick teggy, just as clean if not cleaner than my buddy's that we used to clown pack in back in high school
I have a eg hatch with a k24a completely stock 5 speed out of a base rsx no lsd, front and rear brakes out of a 99 gsr braided lines F&R wheels are 15x7 te37 and tires are 225/50/15 and spring rates are 10F 8R no sway bars yet and man it feels good on the touge still a lot of upgrades coming for it. Nice driving with the integra, good content 🤙🏻
The last time i drove this model was in Forza Motorsport 4. If you agree, you can contact Turn 10 and offer your car to do some photo session. Not only because its the Honda integra model but because you have the ings parts equipped too. The actual Acura integra in Forza games dont have any aftermarket parts to equip.
This Pov is great! I was just driving a 2013 R60 Mini coop on the same touge last Saturday. It really sucks that a good chunk of the faster section is still closed. Hopefully the city can fix the mudslide so I can go sliding again. Anyway, this was my first time watching your content and I'm definitely going to stick around. Keep up the good work.
I have 8k/6k spring setup for my MX5 NB, and that already feels harsh over badly paved roads. Can imagine 12k/10k is truly terrible for touge driving. I think 8k/6k should work good for the Integra, for my NB I will go 6k/4.5k in the near future.
@@goober5904 But do you have speedbumps, broken pavement and concrete slabs? I live near Belgium, everytime I need to be there my car shakes and bounces, to the point it is even dangerous to drive faster then the speed limit. On good paved roads its more then enough, depends on where you live regarding road condition.
u should do the downhill on sierra in milpitas, go up from calaveras to learn the course then go back down to calaveras (the other side is more residential and has sharper turns). i do the uphill but my dad does the downhill on there and he starts from the end of the narrow road at the top then races all the way down.
Pick up some s3 coilover I have there track setup on my ek hatch perfect for touge and track driving they have rear helper springs so the rear actually gets some down travel they are local in orange check them out
random af but really curious, whats with the diagonal sticker right above the exhaust, see a lot of touge cars with it, is it a culture thing or just to let em know u a hot boi in the mountains lmfao
Lil too risky in the rain and on punlic roads for me but been there done rhat myself too! Lol 😂😂😂 90s civics and integras are what I got started with!! Still wanna get an EF hatch and go nutso again! Track day car with occasional touge runs! 😜😜😜😜
One of the fastest dudes I knew had a DC2 and crashed it in the rain due to understeer hydroplaning. I had a built DB and a built AE92 also and there's just a point where FWD can no longer handle the rain - my next car will be AWD.
These cars are being handed down year after year, vlog after vlog. More molested than before. Prices are going up yet it seems the odometer is as well.
ill never understand how theres not 5 million people in here telling you that you guys are unsafe and shouldnt do what you do on public roads, not saying i agree, just seems like theres no karens in the comments, what a strange feat.
Garbage driving, Horrible ride height that’s tossing the car around out of control. and then your a hair from going head on with someone… you think someone wants you chit box crossing over the line
it isn’t even his car plus he’s not even driving erratically. it’s literally just taking a car on a spirited drive. they also acknowledged what’s wrong with the car and how they want to improve it so you’re just hating to hate 🤡
A car that’s so direct you can see the nose of the car and road, but you put track seats in were you cant even see the wipers, and drive like a lame in the wet😂😂😂😂😂
@@xFactoryUSA what are even your comments you bum old head 💀 go comment on every other person that takes their cars on the back roads. reread what you said and make it make sense you uneducated boomer
The driver of this Integra deserves some head for sending it in the rain
they gonna take away that checkmark if u don't chill
don’t make me kiss you on our first meet up

exactly. good old nineties' cars
I've got 9kg front and 7kg rears on my D2 coilovers
Amazing for the touge takes bumps incredibly well can highly recommend
b18c and b18c1 are the same engine b18c just has higher compression and hand polished and ported cylinder head and different intake style manifolds

Honestly i couldn't believe he could see fine with that setup , his view look blocked partially
Pinehurst is one of my favorite spots, just took the wrx on it when I was in town last. You boys were pinning it!

I run touge in my 1999 Toyota Aristo, an unorthodox pick for sure but I love the balance and stability
YES YES YEA FUCK YESS I LOVE THESE VIDS AND THE RAIN JUST MAKES IT BETTER
True this car so raw high revving and handles great. I’ve driven faster cars and motorcycles but this feels different for sure

the car definitely needs a much softer suspension set up. but car was originally intended for track usage only but we have changed our minds haha
i thought you were kidding about putting the go pro clipped on your hat💀
stay safe bro too many young drivers losing their lives
Raw feeling better is crazy.....u right tho
back in the bay let's go
That forest is nice. The woods look different over here by me.
dont get rid of the sunroof :(
Just a W channel.
new lower and upper control arms sway bar end links and don’t get spherical bushings
You had to sit further away from the steering wheel and pedals ???
It's a nice DC2 but sadly aint the Type R with the stiffer chassis and suspension parts

lol ik pinehurst when i see it
scrape scrape scrape fix the damn suspension. Thing nearly bounced off the road at one point.
dampening looks too stiff
Investing at 18k -->>> 100k loading
What's funny is that the Integra is only like 200lbs lighter than an 8th gen.
(WET)
Suspension is a bit too stiff ma boys.
back breaking stiff
Get a rsx type s bro

Red badges on non Type R... 🙄😮💨😅🤣
I want to record a video like this in my car man, but it's automatic.... I feel like it might not be as great of a video

So stupid to run that steering wheel without proper safety. At for me it is, when you have a family. When you're young and dumb, it all seems fine.
Private track in the rain reserved for complete fumb ducks and people with kids in their cars. Seems strange.
