Man, these maps feel like my childhood home. I spent so much time exploring every inch of these places. (Obsessively so, and have explored them even closer in map editors later on.) Nice to see them rendered in an more modern engine with the music too ...
@Voltaloydz Didn't like the way the low strings in the beginning were jammed. When they're not jammed, they add to the atmosphere a great deal of suspense which the jamming kinda rendered missing.
Mange takk :) Har vært dårlig med Doom-covere i det siste må jeg innrømme, men jeg har allerede lagd en utgave av "Into Sandy's City": www.perkristian.net/game_doom2.shtml
1:49 sounds so good
I agree
Interesting how the same music can set a completely different tone from that of the original.

Too true, Doom is a security blanket for me as well
so much energy on this song
i love it cause it feels like evil and sinister but upbeat and energetic
It's rare for a cover of this song to use a woodwind sound like the original instead of some guitar. I love it. Keeps that evil castle feel.
Love this extended version of your remix to this classic song.
damn, doom is one of the greatest games in history and revolutionized gaming as we know it today :)
1:12 my favourite part
Still the best cover of this song to this day.
it sounds like some ancient haunted island or some cannibalism theme
more like scifi theme
Wdym canibalism
What a sentence
@@CuhShark indeed
Brutal doom
Very Perfect Dark-ish
This song kinda reminds of standing in a hall full off shelves looking for something
The song reminds me of a bird's innocence at the beginning, as soon as the other instruments kick in, the innocent bird is destroyed by the Demons.
Thanks
Awesome work there mate! Very nicely done!
Nice music bro Decentemente creado

great mix!! really love comming back here to listen to this any chance you would ever consider doing Sign of evil or nobody told me about id ?? :)
Thank you! I have already made a version of Sign of Evil, it's on my website: www.perkristian.net/game_doom.shtml
What I found scary about this level was the lack of soldiers! Imps demons spectres and lost souls only!
Dritfett arrangement, holde du fremdeles på med Doom-remiksar? Lure på koss du hadde gjort "Into Sandy's City" frå Doom II

Hi. Great remake, can i expect that all sounds come from virus?
What virus?
What virus
Read the damn description you imbeciles
@@WhoseIdeawasthis sorry
@Tri_playz lol
This song is the only place I genuinely loved the sweepy sidetone of SC-55's Halo Pads
BTW: How do you manage to make a scary track even scarier?
What engine is this?
It's the Doomsday engine.
Oh, ok thanks!
May I ask permission to use this track in my custom made doom game? I will add you name in the credits list.
Permission granted :)
thank you so much. You're work is mind blowing. One of my favorite remix's
btw, are you a sound engineer?
Thanks for your kind words. I'm just a hobbyist with a passion for music and sound design.
