Hi, Teacher Val. My name is Madina. I live in Baku. I introduced this game to our team, and we had lots of fun playing it. Your game is fantastic. Our Teacher Nigel and I thank you for your work and interesting games.😊
@@Teacher-Val The students jumped on it as I got them to list the new words from the movie they'd watched. I confirm efficiency and accessibility of the game. Thanks, Val
@@777NG-f9f Awesome!! Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it! Yes, you can do it with adjectives, verbs, nouns, vocabulary from movies, and whatnot, and it will work just fine! Anything turned into a competition feels like a game and can be used in a language classroom.
Hi Val, I've just started a job giving speaking and listening classes only for Cambridge exams. Struggling with young learners pre-A1, Flyers, B1/B2 PET. I have no technology in the class apart from a whiteboard. Any advice for tech free/limited tech classes doing exam prep? Your basic blackboard games are amazing, keep it up!
Good luck with your job! If you don't have any tech available to you, use the whiteboard to conduct mini mock tests. This can help students familiarize themselves with the exam format and types of questions they might encounter. Do group study sessions where students solve problems or quiz one another (similar to dialogue practice). Use flashcards. Do pop quizzes on the whiteboard where you write a multiple choice question and students run to choose the correct answer. That's what I would do.
Do it as a short warm-up activity to review the previously taught material. Invite your strong students to participate. The rest can observe and refresh their memory on the new vocabulary words.
