Why do I get the impression that all celebs love their interviews with Ali? Always so genuine but never generic, always has something interesting to ask and relate to. Thank you Ali!
What I wanted to say - nice one!!
The Florence Pugh interview felt like mates chatting and she clearly didn't want to it to be over.
Nobody enjoys talking to a soy boy. These people are actors, they are fake.
Because he always asks questions out of love and respect, for the actor and their craft.
I remember him doing interviews with Samual L and Quintin, and he got into obscure music and movies with quinton,
meanwhile, there's that one interviewer who managed to piss off Samual, Quinton, AND RDJ, to the point they bailed the interviews.
Forgot his name, but I honestly didn't ever really want to remember it either.
@@AC3handle yeah, I remember RDJ looking pissed off and extremely hurt at the same time.
James Gunn suggested to her to mix Marilyn Monroe and Clint Eastwood to come up with Nebula’s distinct voice, and a legend was born.
Karen Gillan is a rockstar.
Is that true? I hadn't heard that, but now that you say it, I can totally hear it, when I think of Nebula's voice. Two legends that you would not normally put together, but it seems to have worked!

Karen Gillian is my aspirational evening out over drinks/coffee just to have a chat and listen to her lovely accent. She just seems like a lovely person who is both incredibly talented and incredibly nice.
I always hear her with American accent in her movies, it's really weird to hear Karen doing her natural Scottish accent but I love it anyway, I love hearing the accent

Scottish and English actors can talk with an American accent but the opposite isn’t true (American actors can’t talk with a Scottish/English accent)
I do like her mid-atlantic accent the best.
I loved Nebula with Tony Stark on the Milano. Their time together made it like a brother and sister relationship. Nebula is my favorite Guardians character.
It’s amazing how much she’s blown up as an actress,I didn’t think she would have ever gotten bigger than her role as Amelia Pond
She was great in DW and I suspected she's have some level of success but I was expecting it to be more UK based. Thanks to being in the MCU, she's blown up in the US too and gone from a secondary to one of the main characters. Everything else is just cherries on top. She can't seem to do any wrong.

She was not only famous in the US, but in the rest of the world, she deserves all this success, I think she is a fantastic actress and personality

I really wish they had not called it Selfie. Between the trailer which made it look like her character was an unlikable version of Cher from Clueless and the name, it never stood a chance. It actually was a really well written show and the chemistry between John and Karen was fantastic. I really think it would have been a great show.
Honestly I could listen to Ali interview anyone all day long, but he and Karen Gillan seem to particularly hit it off ... another wonderful moment thx to the King of Interviews, Mr. Plumb :-)

Everytime I hear Karen Gillian’s real voice I totally forget she’s from Scotland and doesn’t just sound like Nebula all the time
I don't want to take anything away from Ali, he is a great interviewer. But in this case, his job was easy. I don't think I've ever seen a bad interview of Karen GIllan (I'm not saying one doesn't exist, but if they do, they are rare). She has a wonderful personality. I really love her interviews with Craig Ferguson also.
I fell in love with her when she was on Dr Who plus I have enjoyed most of the movies and characters she has done sense.
