  • Welcome to a Golf in Thailand series!!! The quality of golf courses in the tropics is unbelievable! You'll see ;)
    Blue Canyon Country Club has 2 golf courses: Lakes and Canyon.
    In this video, I played the Lakes course for the first time. Playing this golf course as a member's guest costs only 1500THB, which is $40USD. Can you believe that? I can't 😂 Walking on the course without a member is about $70USD on GolfSavers (www.golfsavers...)

    Great video Shan! I've hit at the range for years but I am new to playing on the golf course so your course managment breakdown is really instructive. Looking forward to your next round ⛳😊!

    Great video Shan - I've played this course (and the Canyon) many times over the last 20 years. You captured the Lakes very well. However, note that the 11th is a dog-leg right :) :)

    great video, your swing looks great and playing this length will help your game with your long irons/hybrids. Just remember in golf we are always learning .

    Did any of the caddies ask you to stop running on the greens? That’s a pretty standard no no on golf courses. 😂

    I was wondering if you (and others who film) had issues with other players when filming a round. So long as the pace is OK I don't see the problem. Keep up the good work, Golf in Thailand is awesome. I just played 10 games in 2 weeks there in August / September and experienced some of those wet fairways you mentioned, makes it a bit tougher.

    What the heck? You seem to be going at a regular pace. No idea why they would complain lol... I guess someone was ticked off that they were having a bad game. Enjoy your time down in Thailand!

    What does the large white circle around the hole mean?

    • @GolfwithShan
      @GolfwithShan  10 месяцев назад +1

      It's about a 1 foot circle. Gimme distance!

    I was like, why is she running to putt? Marshalls like that are a reason that people don't want to play golf.
