If you can’t ride with your friends in the cart then when would you get a chance to talk with them. If this is true this makes Thailand a hard “No” for golf. It just doesn’t sound fun as a non-Thai speakers.

Pretty expensive. And I have my own caddy. So it is not Thailand for me. In the Netherlands many of the golfcourses are cheaper. I'm amazed.

Playing golf in Thailand with caddie 3x a week is about 6x more expensive than an annual membership in UK, it should be cheaper than UK not more expensive and not 6X more

I would recommend Grab or Bolt to and from the golf course. Or I could drive and join a round of golf with you guys next time. :D

Never paid that much for a round. My playing partners have a car as I do. Carts are mostly mandatory now and lots of water, cooling towels, ice are recommended.

Late to the party, but such a shame on 16th..Is not a Driver off the tee for someone who hits it as well as you..5 wood would have been perfect..Next time..Also that 5th Hole I now struggle to reach the fairway😢..No roll on drives also makes the course longer

Next time you go to Thailand you must visit Hua Hin.Way different than Bangkok and Phuket. I live at Black Mountain Hua Hin Golf Club. I think you over paid for transportation. Good video. My first time watching.

I love golfing in Thailand. Originally didn't like having a caddie. Now I wouldn't have it any other way! Caddie are awesome. I have line ID and booked them for next visit. Usually tip 500 plus any snacks or drinks they want. Thailand baby 3 months this January. Btw bringing our clubs!

I know this is a bit dated. But if you are really going to play golf there are a number of companies that basically do all landed costs for amazing rates. This normally includes all transport from arrival at the airport, to final drop off, including daily golf shuttle to and from the courses. The agency I used normally includes 3 different price options for accommodation . All green, cart and caddy fees (excluding tip). Costs in the range of 35 to 50,000 baht for like 7 nights accommodation and 6 rounds depending on hotel you select. Basically all costs less international airfare, spending money and caddy fees. Say $usd1500. All golf and accommodation. Far cheaper than doing it yourself or piecemeal. You can tailor the packages to include less golf, more than one location etc. We generally would only play every second day cos there's so much else to do 🍻 🎉💃(temples, shopping, silk factories and tailors)and because of the heat. I used golfasian.com excellent service. Though there's others

If you're up by newmarket than you can check out Silver Lakes for a similar over water experience. Theres also a nearly 100 yr old course called Orchard Beach that has greens faster than Redcrest and 9 holes.

I stayed in Bangkok and played golf, not book any transportation for golf. book the golf packages in golf apps, like golf savers. There are many courses that are cheaper, around 1200 to 1500 baht, get your thai friend to book, there are also many cheap courses if you know where

I have been there twice and I enjoy it very much. didn't play some of the very nice top golf course in Thailand but we play all the golf courses in Vientiane, Laos.

I'm not giving up on her yet lol. dream of improve her golf game and I can take her out father daughter golfing sometime or golf vacation like this. It will be so much fun.

I notice you said you "pushed" the shot when you hit left (#3, #11). If you're a right-handed golfer hitting straight left, it's a PULL, not a PUSH. Your driver was awesome though, very consistent!

I've hit the powerlines at least 2 times in one round on Upper, but always miss them on Valley lol

You can definitely drive the cart yourself in 90 percent of the courses.

Range balls are included! On the bottom of your receipt is a code for the ball machine.

There used to be a local rule that you could rehit if your ball struck a hydro wire. Not sure if it’s still in effect today

Instead of referring to your boyfriend as his/him, maybe you should call him Mr. Shan? 😉 A woman who has a travel channel called Travel Ruby that I follow calls her off-camera husband Mr. Ruby. He doesn’t mind. I’m sure your boyfriend wouldn’t mind “Mr. Shan” either. Cardinal is a lucky course for me having played many tournaments there & twice won the grand draw prize. In 1998, I won a trip for 2 to London England, 3 nights accommodation & a trip for 2 anywhere in Europe where British Airways flew. We chose Athens. Then a few years later, I won a set of Callaway irons & bag. Good memories there. Great swing btw! 😍

Wrong, wrong, wrong, you can drive your own buggy, with the caddy beside you and in some courses, you can share a buggy and the caddies will stand at the back. Hua Hin
