You forgot to mention that it charges at 7.4 kW, which is unusually fast for a plug-in hybrid. Usually, plug-in hybrids only charge at 3.3 kW, and this charges more than twice as fast. Plus, with the DC Fast charging, it will charge at 32 kW, which means that the 2-hour charging time you mentioned goes down to less than 28 minutes.
I can see why some people might appreciate this type of car. I don't see the point of it for myself as the car is compromised by the hybrid technology. I suspect this is a step in the right direction for Jaguar, but why have they not brought out a full-on electric F-Pace already? They must have enough data (from all the I-Pace owners cars) to produce a potent enough model and make it a flat floor with more internal space and much better packaging, like a front boot, better internal tech too. Come on Jag, get on with it already.
This is based off the xe chassis it's not a simple matter of adjusting the entire design of the car. The ipace is produced in Austria so they will be gearing up for domestic production in the coming couple of years
The F-Pace is only halfway through its usable life, so fitting a hybrid powertrain makes most sense - especially as those wanting something similar by full-EV can opt for the I-Pace instead.
Like the presentation. Good to know the suspension is not tuned for comfort in a hybrid. Why Jaguar? 1. Wish there were E-Pace PHEV. 2 Wish the E-Pace PHEV are sold in the US.
Yes, you can slow charge it from a standard outlet or fast charge it from an electric oven outlet. If you don't have an electric oven outlet in your garage, you can hire an electrician to install one for you. You can buy the charging cable that connects to an electric oven outlet on Amazon.
I just don't see the classy looks and the luxury wether inside nor outside. I see a serious, solid built car that in most categories is good average and in none category best really. My neighbor owns an XF which after almost 10 years and 150k miles looks incredibly cheap and worn inside. As an owner of beautiful classic Jaguars I look forward to future models and hope the brand finds its way back to its classic elegance. Because for now this brand is somewhat hibernating due to bad decision of which the worst was to abandon the classic style that made a Jag a Jag. And with LR as sister brand I really don't understand why Jaguar needs to build SUVs.
And the new grille and bonnet. My new P400 is stunning. Shame Jaguar value their customers so badly they deliver cars minus the extras you specified blaming it on the chip shortage. The petrol P400 mild hybrid is just fab. Who needs even more heavy batteries????
Random hand pointing our the main dash screen cracked me up!

How do we get this PHEV car? Is it on the Jaguar website?

Oh no. I imagine a lot of items falling out of that boot when the tailgate opens not the best design.
can I plug it in at home
