Omg I’m so excited I just ordered mine in midnight blue long range. I’m getting it in October and this is my first car ever at 21 y/old. I’ve worked very hard to afford a car like this and I am so proud to say that I’ve gotten to afford a car like this completely on my own without any help from my parents. I hope that my mother is watching me and is proud of me from heaven. She unfortunately died when I was 19 too cancer. Her favourite colour was blue💙
Thanks for the great ride! I love that you don't ruin the video with bad music, unnecessary commentary or fast forwarding. Instead you give us the feeling of how it is like to drive it. Exactly what I was looking for. I am so in love with this car. Can't wait.
Good to hear! I'm planning to buy one myself but I'm torn between a) used MY23 LR FWD b) used MY23 LR AWD (both with plus & pilot package) or c) MY24 SR RWD (plus package only). Suggestions?
@@spl1011 they scrapped it on all due to shortage on semiconductors. Atleast in my region. The Pilot pack is now Pilot light pack. But yeah I don't think this car has Pilot or Pilot light as he has no 360°
Yesterday I tested by myself (July 18th 2022). Actually it is. Even I tested DAB radio only - but in my subjective opinion it is close to a concert hall.
What specifically do you prefer about the Polestar? I'm very biased towards Polestar but I have a lot of people around me who try to convince me of Tesla...
In reality it is always an even different experience. Also with Polestar. I felt impressed by the colors and the size, too. To me it is different compared to online photos only.
I have to say, my biggest disappointment so far with the car (done 2 test drives and waiting on my order) is the lack of color options. Out of what they have I went with the Midnight, which is a nice color, but I'd have loved a Dark Grey option instead. Like, same shade as the midnight, but in a grey, would have been my go to.
I’m surprised at the tire noise. I don’t remember the noise was that loud when I test drove one recently; are these regular Pirelli all weather tires? I’ve a reservation for the ‘23 model year.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Loved the dusk setting, although I am not a fan of the midnight because its too dull and dark and I hate the chrome bits, I have a void.
I need your suggestion... Would you prefer? Option A Polestar2 / Long Range Single Motor / Pilot Lite / Magnesium color (52.690€) Or Option B Polestar2 / Standard Range Single Motor / Plus Pack / Midnight color (52.690€) ???
Depends on what of them you take more attention to. If you take more attention to Color and design, take Magnesium. And if you take more attention to AI systems (=> Traffic support systems) take the one with Plus Pack. As far as I was told by the advisor, that Plus Pack is close to Automated driving Level 2.
Pilot pack includes adaptive cruise control with 360 camera and sensors. The plus pack has the heat pump, and nicer interior including the glass canopy roof. I went with dual motor and pilot since its my daily commuter. My recommendation after 6 months driving would be to skip the Pilot ( I never use adaptive cruise control), and take the plus package.
@@SuperDryDiverThat's surprising to me. I did a test drive recently and I loved how well pilot assist works on highways. I'm going to drive 400 km on highways per week and I find this feature invaluable. But admittedly I don't have your experience with the car. Why exactly do you not like it?
I love the midnight color on the PS2. Probably the best looking color on that car. I've already put 7 k miles on mine and I'm going to have to disagree on the sound system. I will use our Volvo XC R-design with the Harman kardon as a comparison. The XC90 the sounds wraps around more and still give you a slight focul point. The PS 2 the focal point of sound is the center front with less of a wrap around feel. You know, stereo surround sound. There is no good fix and at low volume the sound is well dare I say pretty terrible. Also, the stereo app is very basic and lacks. When in other apps like map there is no info on channel or song, not even when skipping a song or changing channels. These should be basic display notifications. There are some other issues but that's not this video. Other than that I love the car. Should have sprung for all 3 options but I didn't because of some of these biased videos.
@@tonys9413 yes, because wanting a proper 20hz to 20,000 isn't classy. I'm sorry that your ears don't work well, and that you are a judgmental pompous ass. Oh and I have a fully loaded dual motor 2.
nice car but very innefficient , battery drains very quickly more than other electric cars, thats is its biggest downfall. they need to upgrade the spoftware and add more battteries make it around 84kwh so it can have few more miles ,
At least regarding the consumption I can’t share that. I did a balanced test ride (highway and tight cities) so cumulated I reached quite 15,5 KWh (15,6 Wh, however). Regarding the all-wheel configuration with two motors it is absolutely not that much.

Good choice. Congratulations! This is the ideal car at 21, I bet you will run it happily many miles

Thank you so much for the support!
This was a fun ride along. Love all the sounds the car makes, esp the welcome and back up audio, save foe the blinker clicks.
love how the video clearly demonstrated the level of noice isolation when entering the car, and how much wind/road noice built up over speed.
Great car. Had my dual motor for 1 year this July. No issues. None.

I test drove this car yesterday and it was a beast. I love it, might have to buy it
First time I've seen the rear lights turn on without the animation. Looks nice actually:)
The light animation is part of the Pilot Pack. I guess this car doesn't have it.

The sound insulation seems superb!😍

Amazing sound system!👍
Its amazing!
Went from a tesla model 3 to a Polestar 2 and i am not regretting it

The build quality and drive is much better.
Amazing Midnight finishing color.
this is west palm!!! Im getting my P2 on wed! where do you tpically fast charge at?
Sweet ride! 😍

Have to agree. I went with black in the end, would have loved a shade of blue like Volvos Fjord Blue or a nice green option.

I can share the same. Can’t even remember that tyre noise was that loud that much (talking about an European Polestar).
I love the look of this car! I like them better than Teslas

The stereo bass doesn't get low enough.
You can adjust the audio settings
