  • It been almost three month since I installed the Accuair Jeep JL Air Suspension System. So at this time I feel that I now have a good understanding of the system and it's limitation, which means I can finally provide you review video of the function and drive quality.
    If you are unfamiliar with the Accuair Jeep JL Air Suspension System is it basically an adjustable air lift kit that with the press of a button the jeep can be lifted or lowered.
    In this video I will be showing giving you an overview of the function of the control and app, showing you all the presets and available heights. I will also give give you my opinion and thoughts about the ride quality.
    If you have not already, please make sure to check out the unboxing and installation videos from the links below;

    I also have this kit installed and riding. It is a smooth ride. But no rolling. Very satisfied. thanks for the video

    Thanks for commenting on body roll @8:30... i was thinking that the auto-level function might also take into effect cornering lean too. hope this is the case. also, i can't wait until you reinstall the SteerSmart trackbar up front. i'm a huge fan of my entire Synergy Mfg front steering system (tie rod, drag link, trackbar and sector shaft brace) and I'd try to leave all of that installed with this kit. even the adjustable front upper control arms from Synergy would hopefully stay on my build with this kit.

    And are there possibilities to lower the jeep even further? I mean, does it only go so far? I ask this because I saw a can am that had the same air suspension and could go down almost touching the ground.

      The air bags have built in bump stops, so if you empty all the air from the bags it will only go so far.

    Very detailed explanation of everything, gonna be getting this kit for my gladiator soon… for the trackbar, is it adjusted based on the vehicle riding in setting #2 or #1?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  11 месяцев назад

      The kit come with a longer track bar that is design to work for a 3.5" lift which is setting #2. I know for a fact it also works fine on #1 aswell.

    Question for you. I run the stock Rubicon wheels and tires, I have no intention of going with a larger tire at this time because I tow an Off-road Teardrop and I don't want to rob horsepower that I need for towing by putting on a larger tire. That being said I often need more clearance especially when it comes to my breakover angle. If I bought this system for my jeep I would want to spend all my time generally speaking in the "1" position and only use the 2 and 3 positions as needed when I have clearance issues on a trail. Do you see any reason why I couldn't use it in this way with what you know about how it works?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  Год назад +1

      Yes you could 100% ride on 1 all the time if you wanted.

    My system won’t let me ride on number 1 past 25 mph. It goes back to 2. Any ideas? I have a jk.

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  8 месяцев назад

      I am not sure, possibly the JK system is different then the JL and JT system and it won't allow you to run on preset 1.

      Does it ride softer than factory @markStevenson

    Hey John, sick setup! I'm on 37s as well and I was wondering if you could tell me the height of the jeep when you're on the lowest setting -- to fit into the garage etc. Thanks in advanced!

    Does it ride softer than stock?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  5 месяцев назад

      It's hard for me to confirm if it is or not because I also have bigger, harder tires that affect ride quality. My thoughts are that it is about the same or a little bit softer.

    So been 5 months or so how is the air suspension doing. Have you been off road with it yet

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  Год назад

      Pretty good, haven't noticed any issue with it. I will be doing a long-term review of it soon to see how all the components are doing. I have taken it on the NJJ obstacle course, haven't had a chance to do any serious offroading.

    Dude I have been having a lot of problems with the sensors on my 2016 jeep jk, manual mode don’t even work, response from company is close to none when it come to emails, they answer calls but nothing fixes the issues of sensors not responding, and then sensor warranty is like send us yours and we will send you a new one but manual mode won’t work so I’m stuck with the jeep on the drive way since it’s either on lowest setting (bump stops) or highest setting, even if I go 30mph it won’t adjust, so I don’t know, and I barely have the kit for maybe 1 week and it’s been nothing but problems, will try again when the new sensors arrive from Amazon since this company can’t overnight them

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  Год назад

      Did you run a calibration? If so did that work fully? If not then maybe you installed one of the sensors incorrectly. I did that the first time and as a result the sensor was obstructed and the system would not adjust. I also ran into another issue where the front was only working and the back wasn't, what I did was disconnect all wired and reconnect and then it worked. For that I must have had a loose connection or something, but after I did that it worked fine.

    • @victorcavazos2762
      @victorcavazos2762 Год назад

      @@evolvedjeepin I can’t get past the calibration lol, front sensors voltage don’t move they stay at 4.38v doesn’t matter if it’s low or high, passenger rear works smoothly and gradually lowers voltage as the bag lowers, driver rear keeps breaking the lever, and they are all positioned the same with same travel, both front sensors basically works but the voltage is stuck at 4.38v, ECU only shows error on driver rear,

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  Год назад

      @@victorcavazos2762 What you mean by voltage? I mean the system sends power to open up the block to allow the air to go through and change the height of the bags. The sensor only sent information to the. brain. Did you lay under your jeep and watch the sensor to see if the arm is hitting anything when you start the calibration?

    • @victorcavazos2762
      @victorcavazos2762 Год назад

      @@evolvedjeepin if you run the calibration with the physical control and use the app on the system diagnoses it will show the voltages per bag, so I’m assuming they should match (voltage- height) if not then how will It know it’s at 1.5”, 2.5” or setting 1-2-3, the one braking is not hitting at all but over extending since the bag is getting over inflated and the lever snaps, again I noticed that sensor in reverse, meaning once the bag goes up the sensor voltage shows going down, doesn’t matter what I do on rotating that sensor same results, if this is not the case when it comes to voltages then what’s the point of ECU, meaning on the default setting 2, how did they program it? Is it with time? My brain says power using voltage, so for an example, setting 2 will be set at let’s say 2.8v and that will give you the height desired and stop once it reaches that voltage, I mean I could be wrong, tech department says voltage doesn’t matter but to me it’s like what’s the point of the ECU and how will it automatically adjust on height if voltage doesn’t matter

    • @victorcavazos2762
      @victorcavazos2762 Год назад

      Can you try and make video showing the calibration using the physical controller then using your phone to check the bags voltages to compare, maybe yours does the same and I’m overthinking on how it should really work instead of just install and not worry about it
