I have watched a .lot of your videos, you are a serious woodworker man, i really cant believe the amount of skill you have in making all your furniture, you accuracy and patience is the best i have ever seen on youtube
I hope that those who followed this video really get the skills and time involved with producing what many would see as just a tray. For most it would seem crazy to invest the time it takes to create such amazing piece of functional art as there is little monitory return. Hopefully RUclips somehow compensates for this. The one thing I think is missing in most peoples lives is the ability to just focus on a project like this and not tempted to rush so we can return to our daily duties. Appreciate the inspiration to get into the shop and spend quality time doing something of real value. Cheers from New Zealand

Jesse, you have inspired me to turn my craftsmanship toward woodworking on RUclips several years ago, now as a member of the mob you and the others there have taught me sooo much! I'm currently licensing my very first business and as a woodworking/art shop! I will be following you on the 8 week joinery tour, of course! Super stoked for that, this serving tray is beautiful, and I do a bunch of those, but I'm excited to incorporate the handles like that with the exposed joinery, I think it's a great facelift on a tried and true simple design. I think for me though, the true blessing you impart to me is that I see a likeness of myself in Jesse, the tendency to speak like a sailor, the shot myself in the foot mistakes all wrap up into the skilled craftsman and make really fine work. That's the inspiration you give me, to be able to overcome my weaknesses and still come out on top. That's how you bless me and mine, Thank you Jesse, keep up the good work!
Wow! What awesome talent and patience you have! Such precision with each detail, beautiful and a joy to watch! There are still people who have the knowledge and skills to do such things! Very encouraging to see! God Bless You! Thank-you for sharing!
I can’t say enough how every video that you do it’s all for us for viewers that we try to learn to be better in woodworking and in everything Merry Christmas and may God richly bless you and your family
Ahhhh that upside down plunge table!!!! Brilliant damn so many unbillable jobs! Not good for a and procrastinator, sorry customers! Going to lose them all ,I’ll have some wonderful new toys!
How it blessed my life? As a student of TM [Transendental Meditation] I see in the joints, the lines and proportions an aesthetic that promotes quiet meditation & somewhere in there lies the objects beauty.
It blessed my life because it’s the first video of your that popped up in my feed in over a year. I’m subscribed and have hit the bell for all notifications and still this is the first in a year. I was going to say that it’s good to have you back but, apparently it’s me that’s been gone and not you.
It would be great if you could add the wood specie you work with/pick for your different projects. Most of time it's obvious to any trained woodworker eye, sometimes it's not. Thanks Jesse!
Maybe this video didn’t completely alter my life but I really liked that you didn’t go with the standard handles on this thing. I’m going to try something different and it was all inspired by you. 👍🏼
Looks beautiful as always looks like it's all from one piece on camera do not tell that there's more than one piece on camera anyways looks really good though man happy holidays to you and yours
Are you recording the workshop? I was wondering because I work a month on and where I work I won’t have internet. So if I joined the workshop would I be able to watch the episodes I miss at a later date?
Adam Henkel that’s one of my questions. Also money is tight. When it says you can cancel at any time. If you finish the 8 weeks then what happens do you lose access to everything you’ve done? Or is it a case pay 20 bucks a month as an on going “investment”! It’s that time of year when something looks great but you spend the rest of the year paying for it!! Had no experience with this kind of thing 👍😳🍀
@@paddydunne774 Your monthly membership gives you access to all that is on the platform including tutorials, plans, challenges. You can cancel at any time which will allow you to have access until your current billing cycle is over. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.

For a moment, I thought, wow, I can practically smell the walnut watching this video. Then I realized I was still wearing my shop jacket.

beautiful blunt rolling tray
Where'd you get that cool-ass glue bottle?
You want a Matthias Wandel screw-advance box joint jig 👍
A beautiful piece, just in time for Christmas.
What finishing spray is that?
The samurai carpenter has cheap modular shelving to store his wood? Is that a future project?
I always love the music which you put in your video. I was wondering where do you get it from?
What did you spray it with? Thank you.
First time seeing your channel very nice build. What can spray finish are you using? Thanks
What brand chisels do you use??

Hahaha. At the beginning of the video I thought you had caught me getting wood from my stacks. 🤣🤣🤣

Are you recording the workshop? I was wondering because I work a month on and where I work I won’t have internet. So if I joined the workshop would I be able to watch the episodes I miss at a later date?
Yes. They will all remain on the site after and you will be able to catch up for sure.

Do you have plans for sale for the serving tray?
Where have you been? Love your uploads.
Dude when are they finishing the road works by your place?
Also how's the leg doing?

What kind of spry is it what you use?
Ya know, I really didn't wanna like your channel or your vids but, I just have to, they are awesome!!!
Is the class going to be a one joint a day/week?
It will be one joint each week for 7 weeks with a final project (entry shelf) that incorporates a few of the joints learned.
