We disagree, respectfully. She goes from killing Indaara and Torbin quite easily, to a flashback where her final meaningful words to her sister are that she'll kill her, to wanting to defect to Osha and the Jedi through Kelnacca, to swapping places with Osha. She's got a lot of trauma and backstory that needs to be explained, it feels very unclear to us right now.
I predict that Qimir is not Sith. He knows their teaching but refuses to bound by them. I think the Coven raised and trained him and one of the witches survived the fire and is his master. Quimir eventually becomes the original Ren. Osha goes with him to start the Knights of Ren. Mae dies trying to save her sister from the dark side. Not sure what Sol's role will be ultimately except to hide all of the dark side doings from the Jedi Counsel. And, to give exposition to how Qimir ultimately became as strong as he is.
Would be very interesting if Knights of Ren are sort of survivalists who lose their original teachings and parcel together a hodgepodge of dark side teachings!
I think the twist is that the burning of the temple was done by Osha and not Mae, and Sol has used his powers to alter her memories... that is why Qimir is more interested to Osha, as he knows (somehow...) that it was Osha doing the...evil thing...
That would be very cool to see. The Jedi have been very loosely using the Jedi Mind Trick throughout the show, so having some details erased and making the dialogue of Episode 3 be how Osha's child mind interpreted the effects would be crazy. We still want the Mae and Jedi perspective though, and Osha may have started a fire just to leave but not necessarily to kill.
I keep waiting for the Fight Club like twist. Could the Mae we know really have been Osha all along and Qimir is the real Mae? Osha and Mae started the show as not identical twins and they are identical now, which makes me think they have been the same person all along.
The fraternal to identical twins thing is just for the sake of making acting for the kid scenes easier probably. Having them believe they're each other is interesting though, but could also do something with the whole two halves of a whole idea they're very tied to.

Good question. Hopefully there's some action, similar to the Lumiya and Luke fights from EU/Legends. Qimir Cal Kestis-like breakaway saber essentially does have a shoto half. The problem is if she does fight Qimir, she has to have a guarantee he died and wasn't a Sith or Sol's Brendok history is revealed and he's blamed for the mess. It's all tbd, she's got a lot of hype but not a very detailed role in the show so far.
My entire thing is, why would the actress playing Vernestra train with a lightsaber prior to the show if she didn't have some major action scene? @starwarslads
While technically lightwhips are connected to the dark side, Vernestra has these fears and worries over hers and keeps the design a secret for a long time in her first few appearances. Now could she have fallen? Maybe, but we have to get some big hints and proof of that if it's true!
I bet Qimir Ren admits that he was actually hooking up with Mother Koril and that he is Osha and Mae's father. He wants to rule the galaxy as Father and Daughters alike.
Don't think that makes much sense, tbh. The twins have darker skin which neither Qimir or Koril have. Maybe he's some sort of donor through some Sith practice, bit it really does feel like the twins have to be partly relayed to Aniseya. They also have no sign of any Zabrak features.
I am excited for episode 6, Episode 5 was my favorite. In my opinion the duels were almost if not just as cool as the duels in the prequel. Sol and Qimir's duel reminded me of Qui-Gon and Darth maul's duel in the Phantom Menace.
We are too! Hope there's a lot of character development for the twins and for the plot to really intertwine the flashback and present day storylines. Also hope Vernestra has some strong stuff to really justify her inclusion this episode onwards!
Imo, I think it will be revealed that Qimir's master who trained him is Tenebrous..... of course, Qimir will be killed ....probably by Sol..... to be replaced by Tenebrous new acolyte ,/ apprentice Plaguies........ Tenebrous , Plaguies ( and Palpatine ) were the first sith in 1000 years to get out of hiding and set in motion the plan ti infiltrate the republic, from within, by having alter-egos in real life......until they reach the upper level of the republic..... I think a logic solution is that when a sith takes an apprentice, first he is an acolyte.... with no name.... a sith can have many acolytes...... until the most worthy becomes a sith...... thus given a Darth moniker...... Tenebrous , Plaguies and Sidious seek all their lives the power of immortality and creating life by manipulating the force...... the plan to create a ' chosen one ' to fool the jedi by twisting the prohecy is probably very long in the making..... and many experiments surely took place along the way....... maybe the witches were working with the sith ( willingly or not )..... or maybe the sith stole that power to the witches......who knows.....

Qimir wants to kill Mae for just TRyINg to betray him. That’s why she’s all over the place, he wants osha as his pupil!
