Thank you for this video, Charlie. You've provided some terrific value here. You've given me a glimpse into the realities of being a freelance editor but you also give me hope that there is a way to make it in this industry. I'm glad I found your channel. Ross
This is the most helpful guide I have watched so far. The general information is exactly what I was looking for. I will have to revisit this a few times for sure. Thank you very much, Charlie.
Thank you so much for this video, it's so helpful. Earlier I need to go through with so many videos which is also helpful but you've combined everything in one which is very helpful. It's a long video but i literally enjoy it because it's so much informative.
Bro, very interesting and helpful. Although, I feel like it is a little bit dragged. Also, the music in the last part is too loud in comparison to your voice. Much love and appreciation for your job
Hey great video, I have a problem tho.. I don't know exactly which kind of youtube videos I'd like to edit. I'd like to edit short, fast music videos. Maybe biking content since I'm a mtb rider. Then becoming really good at just that specific field. Any suggestion? Thx
Great series! I attempted something similar a couple of years ago but only ended up making 1 episode. I'll make sure to send people here :) Also don't hate me but complete is spelt wrong 😂
Would you always recommend to start as a freelance or a corporate path is a good option as well? I'm keen to be a video editor for a few years ago, last year I opened a my channel to build it as a portfolio and this year I decided to start and try to find a job, but I'm still pushing myself to give the first step. Btw, thank you for these videos really helps a lot.
Your videos are funny, engaging and informative. But can you please either turn down or, better yet, turn off the background music loop? It dwarfs your voice and is very distracting. Very ironic for a clip about video editing.
So much value in here thanks man!
Glad it was helpful!
Even though I've already seen all the videos, this was still great to watch, and defiantly not my last time going through it!
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you buddy for the support!
Thank you So much We really appreciate and Enjoy it ❤

Thanks Charlie, I have two paid clients but the showreel is tough, since I want to make it flow and my content has been so varied over the years.

@@HelloHelloCharlie Awesome. Thank you. (:
EPIC VIDEO
Thanks buddy!
Yo could you tell me the difference between pr and ae pls and why I should use one or the other
PR is for normal editing (what youll be using every day to make a video) and ae is for Special Effects and Animation only!
You’re helpful but you’re rambling about. If you can keep it short sweet and simple that would be helpful!
Noted!
nice video
Thanks bro!
