🤣🤣 insane run sam lol... had 55.8mph out of mine 3000w 72v 32ah with a 60 amp sabvoton.. but i used the enduro frame.. so much lighter than the full steel frames..well worth the extra dollar..
... It also could be that having your cellphone in your pocket doesn't allow for an accurate GPS reading and you may very well be going faster than what your phone is showing. I can confirm that when I test speed reading in the forest, the GPS signals is obstructed by trees and this will show a lower speed reading. Maybe try getting a handlebar phone holder to see if your speed readout increase... Cheers
I’m interested in purchasing an alibaba kit and came across your videos, It’s cool to see how fast you have this one running and it confirms that I should be happy with a 5-8kw motor as long as I have a 150a controller. I wonder if the speedo can be programmed for different sized wheels? That would be the answer to accurate readings.
Hello yes you can adjust the wheel size in the settings however it is limited. The wheel down there with the tires approximately 25in unfortunately the system does not have a setting for 25in. It has a 24in and a 26in I have it on 26in.
I can’t get mine past 45mph. I never got a manual with mine, to open the programming mode of my display. Anyone know how to remove the speed limiter, without causing warranty issues! I have the 12,000W. 72V. 48AH. Is it an easy bypass? Or is the bypass achieved thru the programming of the controller? Any help is much appreciated! TG
@@nasdaq15 no you won't be able to do it that way if that's what it is, contact the place where you purchased the battery and ask them what the spec is you want to find out The continuous amp rating and the burst amp rating and then go from there
I was refering to the addtional 50 amps for the speed increase, so long as your battery can output 200amps. I hear bad things about messing with flux weaking such as torque loss and overheating.
Usually more amps gives more torque and more voltage gives more speed. If you are geared way high, more amps will give more speed too. I think 82v battery would do it, cos you hit the 66 quite fast. It wasn't lacking torque.
It's really good 106 km / h or 66 miles for a 5000 Watts wound like mine in 3.5 T, mine is given by the manufacturer for 110 km / h but it's an 8000 Watts and one of my 2 friends who have the same as mine told me it could go over 120 km / h C'est vraiment bien 106 km/h ou 66 miles pour un 5000 Watts bobiné comme le mien en 3,5 T, le mien est donné par le constructeur pour 110km/h mais c'est un 8000 Watts et un de mes 2 copains qui ont le même que le mien m'a dit qu'il pouvait monter à plus de 120 km/h
Nice video man, but 60 is damn fast, I guess you never go that fast in daily riding? So if you would build it again, would you consider a 4t and have a little less top speed but more torque? Keep them videos coming bro, I love it.
I want to buy a sondors meta cycle but your video seems to be steering me to build one. My only issue is that I have zero experience in battery building. The Sondors looks cool but the annual cost of insurance would be a huge let down/annoyance. Would love to buy a bike like this in Los angeles
Hello, there are several companies that sell these as complete bikes like Enduro e-bikes and vector e-bikes. As far as the battery I was like you, I had never built one before and I did not want to build it, I just could not find one at the time.
@@samjohnson517 I’m tempted to go the alibaba route like I did with my scooter. Bought a maike mk8 off of alibaba for 1400 but then banggood had a better model: laotie ti30. Might see if banggood has something similar in an e bike. Otherwise I’ll start doing some research on credible alibaba vendors
No Sam I don't agree with you that is a dam good speed for that bike and how much you paid for it yes other e-bikes go faster but your talking $3000 or more in cost to get a quicker bike than yours, my friend, 💙👍🏾

I’m building basically the same thing but with a qs273 motor.
That was awesome! Congrats

Hi Sam the DELFAST only goes 50mph and your is way faster than that my friend 👋👍🏾

Hello, watch my latest video when you get a chance , it will give you the answers.

do you know why my alibaba 8000w ebike qs273 motor 3.5T, 72v 150amp sabvoton, only hits 57 mph max?
I'm guessing but it is probably the output from the battery, the battery is not feeding the controller 150 amps.
@@samjohnson517 is there any way to increase this in the menu settings? ukc1 display

By the way, nothing wrong with 57 mph that is still faster than most e-bikes out there.
@@samjohnson517 They said its BMS 100A , burst amp rating 800A. Is that good?
Does the 200 amp controller have more output for flux weakening?

Maybe you've already answered this but what was your cost for this build?
Hello yes I break down all of the prices in my review video but the total is around $3,500
Wowow very fast
So you have a license and insurance?

I tend to think the extra 50 amps would give the power needed for that 3 5t motor to climb up into the 70's, maybe not so much with a 5.0t motor.
how are your brakes holding up?
Those cheap brakes are holding up surprisingly well with those semi-metallic pads from Amazon
