    Your choice of music forced me to watch/listen to every second 😊 The 4th of the 9th has been my favorite for 50 years. The choices you made throughout this build, from the paint to the ropes, have been impeccable. Astonishing comes to mind when I look at the finished model. You've out done yourself John. Bravo!

      I am glad that you like her Mark and she is not my finest work :) The only problem with music is the rights, otherwise i would have thrown on more classical masterpieces :) Thank you very much for your kind words!!!

    What perfect music to add to yet another of your masterpieces because as with them all this was a joy to follow and as soon as my Ropes of Scale arrive I will be trying to follow your every move with the rigging. Wonderful work John as always.

      @@JohnsWoodenShips Thank you John, It is so much better watching someone make the very thing that you are trying to build, for instance, I was struggling so much trying to keep my old rigging in place but watching you place a bit of super glue on it was a game changer for me. You might think such a thing is obvious but when you are trying to take so much in on your first build (The Endeavour is the first time I have tried any sort of modeling with wood) any snippet of information is worth so much.

    following every step of the build while I've been building mine, I
    have learnt quite a lot watching you, you are truly a master builder,
    if mine turns out half as good as yours I'll be very happy.
    I'm hoping my next project will be The King of the Mississippi

    Hi John - an excellent video. Ive been stuck on this one because of the front end hull planking, which made me lose interest! Thanks to your video I can now visualize how it works - as well as many other areas of the Bark which I haven't got to yet - so thanks very much - the project is back on track !!

    You have accomplished yet another absolutely beautiful build as usual! Artesania/Latina really needs to include schematic paper blueprints to scale! If they have to change an additional 20 euros, to do so, then just add it! As a customer I would rather pay a bit more, than to be pissed off and probably never purchase anything from them again!

    • @JohnsWoodenShips
      @JohnsWoodenShips  2 года назад

      Thank you very much Bill!!! You are correct, paper instructions are mandatory , especially in the rigging process.

I didn't like this model because of many things but the end result is beautiful, John you can make something beautiful out of something ugly ....... waiting for the new series and Wolf 4th, take care my friend.

      @@JohnsWoodenShips thank you. I have probably the silliest question ever. If you take a look at attached photo, the 2 yellow circles I have made:
      1). The instruction never instructed me to put 3 pins at the foremast, just 2. So I put in a 3rd pin. Doesn’t there need to be a 3rd point to tie off each block? - thus addin 3 more pins? I’ve tried tying the thread to the single pin, but the threads twirl and look bad. There are cleats close by but may interfere with the ( not sure of the of the thing) winch? I ave also sent a pic of my boat. Do I need another pin or point to tie off the two blocks .
      I can’t send any pictures - with this RUclips channel So if you download the instructions- I am looking at diagram C. Cheers, linda
