Wolf needs his ball! I have only built two wood tall ships. But I remember, on the first one, dreading doing the rigging. But actually I enjoyed doing it, very much! I found it somehow therapeutic, after all that woodwork. Your ship is a work of art! I can’t wait to see it finished, and am looking forward to see you build the Beagle!

Great result and clear explanation on how to tie the ropes John. Patience is the keyword to tie the ropes to makes it at its proper position. Looking forward to the next episode in the build.

The ship is huge and fantastic looking. The rigging must be second nature to you now.

Thank you very much Keith!!! Yes it's kind of easy but in some cases boring.

Fascinating to see the detail needed to achieve an amazing result. Also, I find it interesting to see you still learning new techniques despite your obviously vast experience. Your problem solving ability must be drawing upon countless trial and error attempts on past builds. The edits, I'm guessing, hide moments where you are simply staring at a particular detail you are trying to achieve and how you can possibly achieve it.

You are correct :) In some cases i see the drawings, then the photos and then the real thing and i am trying to imagine how it would be so i wouldn't interfere with the next pieces. There where steps that i could have trying to find out something for over an hour and sometimes i went to see a already done model of my collection to get the idea. And you are also correct, i am still learning after 20+ years of making these models. And if someone will tell you that he knows everything, then he has a very big idea for him self and probably knows nothing correct. He will know everything wrong. :)
