Wolf is your silent partner in crime, that is obvious. Your work and skills are amazing. Thank you, John, for your explanation, your tips and tricks! I did enjoy the series!
Thank you again John. Must be so difficult trying to film whilst doing the rigging and sails, but what you were able to show was really really helpful. Your method of sewing the sails to the yards is particularly neat. Can't wait to see the 'making of' and seeing the ship in all its final glory. What a journey it's been! You are truly a master teacher. Regarding the Beagle, I was so excited when I saw you unbox it many moons ago, as I have built the Beagle (my first ever model). So am really looking forward to watching you build her as she is a really lovely model full of detail, but smaller so a lot less room to work. So it will be really interesting watching how you tackle the project. I know I probably made many mistakes (especially with the rigging, and I botched my first attempt at one of the small boats) but I'm proud of her anyways. I know you will do a superb job of her.
Thank you very much for your kind words!!! Regarding the Beagle, you have to make mistakes so you will learn, i make mistakes all the time :) That's the proper way!!! And with every mistake you are getting better and better!!!
hi John, I agree wholeheartedly with DorasVideoLog. I, too, am looking forward to the next series of building the HMS Beagle. Thank you for sharing your skill at making these works of art. Bill G Linwood Kansas USA

Your the man, great work. I am still working on my ship the" terror" so unfortunately for me i won't be able to build the beagle along with you but I will be watching. 👍💕🙌
Was smooth side of sail on inside your decision. I put smith side facing out , or forward. I guess it’s a matter of esthetic. I didn’t see anything on this in the instructions. But we all know these instructions are vague. Thanks John
John your ship is lovely - obviously you know lots about this ship! My husband past in February at 88. When he was 50 his boss gave him a model that apparently was 105 years old - so today it would be 143 years old. I have an magazine aricle and pictures I can send you via email if you are interested in researching it. Let me know and thanks
