Gh5 is still an amazing camera. I am still shooting with this camera an love the image quality. SIDE NOTE: At the end of the day if your client LOVES and is happy with the results ...that is all that matters!

Hello. I've found your videos on the GH5 very helpful. But I recently reviewed your video on settings and followed your advice. After filming today, I realized that there was NO AUDIO RECORDING, and I just watched a video explaining that the problem was with the variable frame rate. Why would you set your camera on variable frame rate if it automatically turns on sound recording? And I would suggest that you might have pointed that out in this video... Thanks...

I have seen so many videos about gh5 settings, and all of them is noise reduction-5, because if you live on 0 is to much digital. What do you think?
Any reason for not going the 10 bit codec route? Everything else makes sense to me :)
In 10 bit codec there is no variable frame rate. And he has set the frame rate to 60 fps to get slow motion for post production.

Will these same settings work on the Panasonic S5M2?
I use the G9 would you suggest the same settings. I think after all the updates they are pretty similar.
Wondering if you do have a particular technique to focus while moving around or on a gimbal?

Hello friends, I have a problem with the touch of my GH5 screen, everything works for it, but that option is disabled, I appreciate the help..
just out of curiosity why do you use 24 hz for the system frequency? Don't you want audio/to playback your footage in full time in camera (so it's not twice as long)?
You also lose some shooting combinations in 24.00 fps

@@wcsdiaries you definitely lose some of the 30 FPS options. They disappear off the menu.

Do you post process the CineD image ?
I do yeah. I typically use one of my Lumix LUTs over top and lower the intensity to around 60% - my favourite one is usually the Panorama LUT
